Special repair/replacement of LT overhead lines to LT underground cable lines at Doraha under GE Ludhiana

Dismantling & taking down of existing worn out / unserviceable aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of any description /size & in any position from existing LT pole/ Lines all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for taking out of unserviceable under ground cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Returning, filling in, any type of soil and spreading, in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Removal of surplus soil (any type of soil obtained from excavation) to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed & complete all as specified.

Supplying and laying bricks common burnt clay building bricks sub class 'B' bricks complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Taking out existing LT cable of any size from trenches including taking out bricks and removing from site all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioing with a layer of fine sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15cm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and director.Notes-:(i) Excavation and earth work to be measured and paid for separately. (ii)Thickness of 18cms after punning shall be considered for payment.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of cable XLPE insulated , armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches, fixed by means of MS saddles on or fixed on poles including connection with proper lugs for the following size (excavation, earthwork, sand cushioning and bricks shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing in replacment GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore for cable protection fixed to poles/along wall/floor/under road/across the drain or nallah including taking up old GI pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

All as per ser item No 09 here-in-before but size 50 mm bore all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing GI pipe light grade 80 mm bore for cable protection fixed to poles/along wall/floor/under road/across the drain or nallah including taking out existing GI pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Material & labour earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed with layers of charcoal dust and common salt, earth electrode GI strip 32 x 6mm connected to GI earth plate electrode by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and thimbles and other end of earth strip connected to test point and protected by galvanized iron light grade 50mm bore and GI pipe 20mm bore light grade with funnel and wire mesh for watering including necessary excavation and earth works. PCC chamber in cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using graded stone aggregate and RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of MES Schedule (Part-I) of 2009 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes : (i) Outer edge of earth pit will be 1.5m away from the outer edge of PCC chamber. (ii) Water pipe shall be provided in slanting position.

S&F for jointing and testing LT straight through (heat shrinkable) cable end termination joint suitable for LT cable 11000 volts grade 25 Sqmm to 50 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F for jointing and testing LT straight through (heat shrinkable) cable end termination joint suitable for LT cable 11000 volts grade 70 Sqmm to 120 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technique and necessary T&P for passing of LT/HT cables. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L Sub main wiring complete with 2 runs of 2.5 Sqmm single core PVC insulated FRLS cable 1100 volts grade multistranded copper conductor cable with 1 run of 2.5 Sqmm single core PVC insulated FRLS cable 1100 volts grade, multistranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor, drawn through and including 25 mm or higher dia non metallic rigid PVC conduit and conduit accessories concealed/ surface in wall/Ceiling/Pole etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S& F polycarbonate thermoplastic outdoor junction box for steet lights with flap cover operate with IEC 61439-3 which should be shock proof, protection class-II, earthed , IP 65 weather proof , corrision free , acid and chemical resistant , impact resistant, , ultra voilet resustant made of halogen & silicone free recyclable mtrl, internally embedded gasket with provision for cable entry through integrated flanges top and bottom,The gasket should be internally embedded made of polycarbonate incl with fixing arrangement ( clamps, nuts and Bolts etc.) complete with one double pole MCB 20 A all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
