Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedgingout rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads August, 2004 (Two Thousand Four), and clause 16.2( Sixteen point two) of General conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposaland dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for 351.94 cubic metre ( Three hundred fifty one point nine four cubic metre) in all cases @ Rupees 170/- ( Rupees One hundred seventy only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorate basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in hilly area by mannual means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with in all leads and lifts as per drawing and Technical Specifactionb clause 1603.1 ( One thousand six hundred three point one) and as per the direction of theEngineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of transprtaion with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Earthwork in excavation in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils for structure as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal all leads dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. including carriage of all labour equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts, including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 ( Eight hundred two,eight hundred three, one thousand two hundred two & one thousand two hundred three) Nominal mix 1:4:8 ( One cement : Four sand : Eight aggregate) 25mm ( Twenty milimetre) nominal size)within all leads lifts.and carriage of material as per the direction of the Engineer- in- Incharge.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8 with granular material.including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm ( One hundred milimeter) dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(One vertical):20(Twenty Horizential) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Enginee- in- charge
