OD153496/2025-2026:Providing and installing floating Wet Lands, construct the floating wetland frame using 110 mm PVC fittings such as equal tees ensuring that all joints are airtight . Cover the frame with plastic mesh and lay a geotextile layer on the top of the frame to protect plant roots from direct sunlight, capture falling organic matter and prevent weed colonization. Secure the geotextile layer to frame with cable ties. Use locally native plant such as canna indica or similar type ( minimum 16 nos per 4 sm area ) which can purify water by absorbing nutrients and toxic gases in water that trive in water and will not outgrow the floating wetland . The rate should include all materials, labour charge and related cost, including monitoring and maintaining floating wetland for one year. Monitoring include checking plant health, water quality and structural stability of floating wetland. Periodicallyharvest some plants to remove accumulated nutrients and maintain treatment efficiencies
