REPAIR / MAINT OF PIPE LINES, VALVES AND PUMP ALLIED WORKS AT MIL STN KATIHAR

Material and labour for cleaning of Tower mounted RCC OH Tank/Steel OH Tank of 50000 gallons capacity with bleaching powder by blocking the inlet / outlet flow from manholes, lifting the excess semi-solid water from the tank, removing the entire deposited sludge, mud, silt etc, scrapping the internal wall / floor with wire brush (to remove deposited scales, mud etc from the walls / floors by using suitable tools and plants, manually from the bottom of the tank) , and removing the same at a distance n.exc 50m from site where directed, opening the blocked holes etc before normalising flow of water with and including writing letters with synthetic paint in date " Tank cleaned on ___ date" on each cleaning just below the previous date complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Collecting samples of untreated bore well water from Tube well & treated water after IRP of sirsa area pump house and Mauza dalan area pump house for testing of parameters as specified. Note : (i) The Physical, Chemical & Bacteriological testing of water shall be carried out in any Govt/authorised NABL certified laboratory and test parameters should be strictly as per IS - 10500 incl latest amendments. (ii) The item cost includes collecting of samples (as per standard procedure/direction of Govt/NABL Lab) of water from bore well site and charges of Laboratory for carrying out testing of water sample. (iii) Test to be carried out at interval of each 3 months of contract period of both Raw and treated water (iv) Parameters like lead,colour,residual chlorine etc must be included in test report

Taking up or down(GI/CI) old serviceable/unserviceable pipe the following size with any connection including cleaning for re fixing or removal from the side complete all as directed by Engr in Charge.

(d) 25mm bore pipe

Re fixing/Re laying of old servicalbe (GI/CI) pipe as obtained from taking out items No-03 Note :- Including provision of new fittings complete all as directed by Engr in Charge. Note - excavation will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item

Supply and laying as in repair galvanised iron pipes of medium grade with ISI Marked with all tube fittings ( such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces of medium grade , connectors, back-nuts, caps, plugs and unions etc.) laying in trenches/ floors/ ducts and also cutting pipes, screwing, and for making forged bends on piping as required for the following bore of pipes complete all as specified and directed.

(a) GI Pipe 100mm bore

(b) GI Pipe 80mm bore

(c) GI Pipe 50mm bore

(d) GI Pipe 25mm bore

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m in depth and not exc 1.5 m wide for taking out/laying CI/GI/PPR pipes and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavation soil at a distance not exc 50 m and deposited where diverted complete all as specified and as directed

Returning,filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well rumming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed

M&L cutting of existing road/hard standing// footpath surfaces for laying of GI water tubing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing as in repair for Gun metal gate valve of 25mm bore conforming to IS -778 with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for GI pipes with GI union including taking down old one for the bore complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repair for 80mm dia cast iron butter fly valve IS-13095-1991 double flanged and wafer type (PSI-250) including all accessories including taking up/down of old unserviceable valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour cast iron sluice valve conforming to IS -14846 with flanged ends of class PN 1.6 ISI marked, drilled for bolts comprising of Brass spindle cast iron operating wheel, including necessary rubber gasket joint complete with nuts bolts and washer for the size of 150 mm dia bore complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 12 above but 100mm dia bore size and -ditto-.

M & L for taking out Submersible pump set of 10/15 HP capacity from site, disconnecting submersible cable,meggering it to check serviceability, re-fixing the same at site after repair including,cable jointing, , reconnecting all pipe and electric connections and testing on full load complete all as specified and as directed.

Transporting defective submersible Pump set of 10/15HP capacity to work shop, dismantling the motor,taking out burnt winding wire from the stator, cleaning of the casing and the stator with wire brush, rewinding of motor with superior quality copper winding wire of existing size including varnishing an drying, replacement of bearing, bearing bush rubber, impellers etc reassembling the same complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Cleaning & servicing of filtration plant and iron removal plant of capacity 6000 GPH by taking out all the filter media,cleaning, welding worn out MS pipe/Plate and internal threading where ever required inside cell of filtration plant thoroughly by removing all scales /dirts/muds /chemical deposits etc & after drying the cell inside, apply painting in the complete inside cell with 2 coats of black bituminous paint(Suitable for drinking water), after painting, reset the seviceable and washed filter media After completion of work, painting to outer surface including foundation, sluice valve, pipe etc with two coat of synthetic and enamel paint with duly rubbing./cleaning of surfaces rewriting of date for change of filter media cleaning of filteration plant all as specified and directed at site by the Engineer in charge.

Supply only the following item for replacement under item No-19 above

(a) Alkathener strainer 3/8" dia.(As suitable to site)

(b) Ferominex (MNO2) used as catalytic agent.

(c) Fine sand and coarse sand as in filter media in filter bed grade size 1mm to 1.5mm (as per existing). Note. For 19.01 to 19.03 quantity and quantity and quality of each item shall be verified by Engineer-in-Charge, and the corresponding involves shall be taken shall be kept on record prior to releasing payment to the contractor.

M & L for chlorine dosing pump assembly of RC 11 model make RMCO by cleaning the whole body of the dosing system and repair/rewinding of burnt windings of the Agitator Motor(model CDS 100 RMCO), necessary oiling, greasing, tightening of all nut bolts if required including replacment of minor spare parts like suction tube,foot valve, strainer,spring etc.

M & L for Cutting unwanted vegetation growth/grass by manual labour or by machine at all E&M water supply Installation premishes and along the boundary fencing and removing rubbish from the site of work where decided not exceeding 100m from the starting point, the green growth shall be clean once in every three month and the measurement shall be taken every time independently for the excuted qty each time
