REPAIR / MAINTENANCE CEILING FAN, EXHAUST FAN AND OTHER APPLIANCES ALONG WITH CERTAIN CONNECTED REPAIR WORKS AT AIR FORCE STATION JAMNAGAR UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGAR NO.2

Taking down carefully ceiling fan / exhaust fan / cabin fan / wall mounted pedestal fan by disconnecting electric connection for carrying out repairing such as rewinding, replacement of defective spare part, over hauling and painting etc as required and re-fixing in the same position after carry out the repairs works, and connecting complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Repairing such as rewinding, replacement of defective spare part, connecting wire,Over hauling and painting etc will be measured & paid separately under subsequent items.

M & L for rewinding of ceiling fan of any make by dismantling the ceiling fan, removing shaft, bearing and bushing, removing the burnt copper winding from the slots, cleaning slot, replacement of defective nut bolts washer etc and rewinding of fan motor using appropriate gauge/size super enameled copper winding wire thermal class-E, including varnishing and reassembling. Providing three core copper cable PVC insulated multistranded 0.5mm 30cm length for connection of fan from ceiling rose and testing of fan complete all as specified and directed. Rewinding should be carried out for the following size of ceiling fan:-

1400 mm sweep

M & L for rewinding of exhaust fan motor of any make by dismantling the exhaust fan, removing shaft, bearing and bushing, removing the burnt copper winding from the slots, cleaning slot, replacement of defective nut bolts washer etc. and rewinding of fan motor using appropriate gauge/size super enameled copper winding wire thermal class-E, including varnishing ,applying cotton tape and reassembling complete. Providing twin core copper cable 30cm length for connection and testing of fan complete all as directed. Rewinding should be carried out for the following size of exhaust fan :-

450mm sweep

300mm sweep

200mm sweep

M & L for rewinding of Pedestal fan motor of any make by dismantling the Pedestal fan, removing shaft, bearing and bushing, removing the burnt copper winding from the slots, cleaning slot, replacement of defective nut bolts washer etc and rewinding of fan motor using appropriate gauge/size super enameled copper winding wire thermal class-E, including varnishing, applying cotton tape and reassembling complete.Testing of fan should be carried out to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge. The size of pedestal fan for rewinding shall be as under:-

300 mm sweep.

600 mm sweep.

All as per item No 4 above, but wall mounted fan / Air circulators of size 450 mm sweep.

Supply and fix in repair ball bearing of any size suitable for ceiling fan 1200 mm/1400 mm sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair Gun metal bush of any size suitable for ceiling fan of 1200mm/1400mm sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair Gun metal bush of any size suitable for exhaust fan 300/450mm sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair capacitor 2.5 MFD AC 230 Volt 50 HZ, for ceiling fans complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair capacitor 4 MFD AC 230 Volt 50 HZ, of exhaust/bracket fan any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair bolt, nuts, washer and split pin for the down rod of ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and connection in repair PVC insulated, PVC sheathed three core copper conductor cable multi stranded of size 0.5 Sqmm for connecting of fan from ceiling rose complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of ceiling fan including blades by scrapping of old paint, filling of cavities formed, preparation/cleaning of surface, making surface smooth and spray painting with one coat of white synthetic enameled paint of superior quality and writing MES/SM No with appropriate size letters using black paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of exhaust fan including blades by scrapping of old paint ,filling of cavities formed,preparation / cleaning of surface, making surface smooth and spray painting with one coat of white synthetic enameled paint of superior quality and writing MES /SM No with appropriate size letters using black paint complete all as specified and directed.

Assembling & fixing only ceiling fan 1200/1400 mm sweep complete with blades, down rod canopy etc including hanging in position and connecting including taking down old fan and deposited in Store yard of AGE E&M complete all as specified and directed.

Comprehensive maintenance of storage type electric water heater (geyser) comprising of the following checks/test including repair to unsv parts/components at different locations under GE (AF) Jamnagar-02. (i) Taking down geysers from existing position after disconnecting all electrical & water supply connection. (ii) Opening / dismantling & cleaning of all parts & checking for its serviceability. (iii) Cleaning / descaling of inner tank with descaling solution & water leakage testing of tank & rectification of leakage.Testing of thermostat for serviceability. (iv) Checking of pressure release valves & non return valve etc to ensures free movement / smooth operation of these components. (v) Checking of overflow / vent pipes and removing blockages / obstructions if any. (vi) Reassembling the geyser, replacement of minor spare part such as nut, bolt, screw, rubber packing etc & refixing in same position, reconnecting with electric & water supply connection complete all as specified & directed.

Note: All major defective unserviceable components such as thermostat, storage tank, heating elements, safety valves etc required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective items of this BOQ, however quoted rates shall be deemed to includes for minor spare parts such as nut- bolts, screw, glands, packing etc.The following capacity of storage water heater are catered for as under:-

S&F in repair round cable PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, with 3 core copper conductor of size 2.5 Sqmm, ISI marked & connecting complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix on wall/ceiling/roof or laying in trenches 20 mm bore galvanised steel water tubing, medium grade including necessary fittings such as GI bends, tee, union etc and excavation & earth work where required complete and connecting to water supply pipe line including taking down old tubing, all as specified and as directed.

Periodical maintenance / servicing of solar water heater,flat plate collector type/ glass tube collector type, storage type with electrical backup of capacity 100 - 300 litres, as per manufacturer instruction comprising of the following works at different locations as per Engr-in-Charge directions. (a) Complete cleaning of solar system, removing of dirt dust etc. (b) Cleaning of heating surface glass with glass cleaning solution.(c) Opening of cold & hot water connection draining out deposited water removing of mud turbidity etc & cleaning with fresh water. (d) Checking of Non return valve, Electrical backup system & sacrificial anode & tighten the connection.(e) Checking of glass holding tube joint & rectification of leakage. (g) Replacement of unserviceable spare part. Note:-(i) Preventive maintenance shall be carried as per direction.(ii) Unserviceable spares parts will be measured & paid separately as supply only.(iii) Work shall be executed through Authorised service technician of Tata Solar BP / Delta./Red ren(iv) Contractor shall submit the documentary evidence of Authorised service technician for the approval of GE before commencement of work.

S&F in repair 25 mm size Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed to water tank. (Minimum weight 455 grams) complete.
