M & L for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked , mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finnally fannig cleaned surface with gunny bags to removed all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a paving bitumen tack coat with bituminous primer (VG 10 grade) at 5 kg per 10 sq metre & laying premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen (VG-10 grade) and rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne roller to req gradient and camber complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 5.5% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out to be less than 5.5% than minimum binder content of 5.5% given he in above shall be provided.
M&L for two coats of painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L for 100 mm thick cement concrete, type C-2 1:3:6 (40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base of floors etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:1.5:3 type A-1 air entraned (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring/pavment/hard standing and surface finished with spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal while the concrete is green all as specified and as directed.
Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
