Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cable, foundation etc and getting out complete all as directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning & covering of UG cable using crushed metal sand in trenches for cable protection complete all as directed.

Material & labour for sub class B bricks well burnt of size 23 x 11.5 x 7.5 cm for protection of UG cable laid dry flat over the cable width wise across the length of the cable and abutting each other with gap less than 10mm between the adjacent bricks in trenches complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soil complete all as directed.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance n exc 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as directed.

Material and labour for cutting chases in hard standing road/path/drain etc for passing cables/pipes etc size of cutting 100mm wide and 300mm deep and removing the excavated materials and disposal at 50 metre distance and making good to the cutting after the pipe and cables are laid with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as directed. Note:- (a) Cost of GI/ HDPE pipe shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Material & labour for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations and mass concrete for foundations of poles etc complete all as directed.

Material & labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for coping of poles including necessary from work for finishing exposed faces of concrete smooth and even using extra cement complete all as directed.

Taking out carefully LT cable of any size or type or make from ground/ poles/ pipes etc and testing for serviceability and laying the same serviceable LT cables under ground/ on poles/ through pipes etc at same or any other location and testing after connections complete all as directed. Note:- (a) Item to be measured only when cable is found serviceble for reuse. (b) Necessary excavation, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, returning, removal etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Material and labour for laying, jointing and testing in replacement underground XLPE insulated & PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty multistranded electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade in trenches/ ducts/ along poles/ through pipe/ under road/ PCC etc and connecting with new aluminium lugs including taking out existing unserviceable of any size/ type complete for the following cables of cross sectional area all as directed: Notes: (a) Excavation, returning, removal, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, GI protection pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Any damage done during cable excavation to the existing UG infra like UG pipelines, UG electric cables, OFC etc shall be repaired by the contractor at their own expenses. (c) Cost of T&P required for handling/ laying of cable is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

Notes: 1. Excavation, returning, removal, PCC for foundation and coping etc shall be measured and paid separately. 2. Any damage done during erection of pole to the existing UG infra like UG pipelines, UG electric cables, OFC etc shall be repaired by the contractor at their own expenses. 3. Cost of T&P required for transporting/ handling/ erection etc of pole is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

Material & Labour for fixing in replacement cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section (flat iron/ angle iron/ MS sheet) including back plate, MS boxes made out of MS sheet, clamps or D clamps made out of MS flat iron made to shape including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending hot or cold, drilling holes for bolt in any size or shape as directed inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking out existing unserviceable of any size/ type etc and depositing to MES store yard or for taking credit complete all as directed.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip 25x4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part-I 1991 connected to earthing test point/ transformer/ panel all as directed and testing on completion as directed including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, funnel, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C1, RCC pit cover, charcoal, salt including provision of earth lead protected by 40mm dia light grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering complete. Note: (i) If the desired earth resistance is not found within permissible limit of less than 5 Ohm, earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost. (ii) Cost of galvanised earth lead upto 7.5 mtr, 40mm dia light grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering is included in the rate quoted for this item.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable earthing with maintenance free earthing with copper electrode 50mm dia thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.10 mtr below ground level filled with highly conductive metalic compound mixture CCM with the permanent sealing of the both end, outer dia pipe 50mm with strip terminal 50x6 with terminal holes including one bag 25 kg of bfc compound, earth connected with copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, Nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to main switch board protected by galvanized iron pipe medium 40 mm bore, PVC chamber as per manufacturer instruction and testing on completion. Note: (a) If the desired earth resistance is not found within permissible limit of less than 2 Ohm, earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost. Supply and fixing in replacement post top lantern LED type of 20 Watt capacity 230 volts AC outdoor type with decorative post top for 360 degree indirect light IP 65 protection with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamp from pole of any height/ pillar/ bldg wall etc CCT not less than 5700K, IP 65 complete including taking down existing unserviceable light fittings all as directed.

Supply and fix in relacement Integral LED Street Light Luminaire comprising of pressure die cast aluminum housing heat resistant toughened glass with frame IP-65/66 protection road way luminaries with high power LED 90 watt with Efficacy 110 Lm/W,CCT :5700 K with potted 5KV internal and 10 KV external inbuilt surge protection complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for painting of steel pole 09 meter height after preparing the surface by scrapping old paint with sand paper with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer incuding making 5 nos of alternative strips of black and yellow paint of 30 cm width & numbering of pole as per existing complete all as directed.

Material & Labour and installation in replacement after dismantling of old US bus bar, factory fabricated bus bar chamber out door pedestal type made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet of size 750x500x400 mm duly painted with powder coating, simens grey/RAL fitted with four Nos aluminium bus bar of capacity 400 Amps duly mounted epoxy insulator , Cable connections of incoming and outgoing cables duly insulated PVC heat shrinkable sleeve 1.1 KV grade including one No MCCB, 200 Amps, 4 pole, 16 KA, with adjustable thermal setting Ics=100% Icu, including glands c/p lugs etc including 50x50x6mm angle iron frame 450mm height above ground level and 450mm below ground level, angle iron frame shall be embeded in PCC (1:2:4) type B 1 block of size 200x200x200mm complete all as specified and directed including taking out old unserviceable bus bar chamber.
