Design Supplying Laying Termination Testing and Commissioning of 10.5km 110kV 3 Nos Single Core 630 sq mm Al Conductor XLPE UG Cable and Single run Single Mode 24 fibre OFC from 110kV GIS Substation Kollam to Kottiyam Substation

Detailed surveying of the cable route along the alignment fixed by the Board, 2.5mtr width from centre of the path on both side (Total width 5mtr) by using Ground Pentration Radar Method and Pipe detectors to detect all underground utilities at a minimum depth of 4 mtr throughout the length including total station survey for the entire line route and recording the data and propose a safest path for cable laying.

Preparation of Final As Built profile drawing for cable route 1Set containing 6 each prints of hard Copies (colour print) and two Nos. of soft copy seperatly (in compact discs) on which one can edittable and copyable in a scale of 1:5000 indicating the position of Cable jointing chambers, earthing details , position of cable route marker, landmarks,adjacent underground utilities etc after completing the work and energising for the use as permanent record.

Dismantling bituminous/asphaltic road of any thickness manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including utility detecting by using pipe/cable detectors/scanning instrument.

Dismantling water bound macadam road of any thickness manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including utility detecting by using pipe/cable detectors/scanning instrument.

Demolishing stone rubble masonry in cement mortar manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge :

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Demolishing cement concrete of any proportion from footpath/berms/ roads manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas for cable laying (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed upto a lead of 50 meter and lift upto 1.5m in all classes of soil.....etc complete as per the direction of the Board staff.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Controlling and diverting the traffic temporarily for smooth and safe execution of works such as laying of cables and pipes , doing straight joints excavation of trenches, etc.

Close timbering in trenches including (wherever required) complete (measurements to be taken of the face area timbered): Depth not exceeding 1.5 m.

Close timbering in trenches including strutting, shoring and packing cavities (wherever required) complete. (Measurements to be taken of the face area timbered). Depth exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3 m. -

Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site as per drawing/ direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at all side in the site continuously including shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of workincluding shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).

Bailing out water Using 5HP Pump- Bailing out water with 5HP engine and pump set including conveyance to site and erection,cost of fuel, lubrication oil and other stores, pay of staff etc complete

Dewatering by manual

Construction of cable jointing chamber of inner dimension 6 x1.5 mtr mts and 1.90 mtr depth size and 200mm wall thick in RCC 1:1.5:3 using 20mm broken stone, covering with RCC slab 200mm thick with PVC pipes fixed on sides for entry of cables, as per specifications including all cost of cement concrete, form work,earth work excavation,back filling and excluding cost of reinforcement, sand, pvc pipe etc complete.

Providing and fixing 200mm dia PVC pipes(6kgf/cm2) in cable jointing chamber for entry and exit of cables as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Edge angle for Cable chamber and Chamber Cover slabs: Structural steel work ( GI) riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer including cost of all materials etc complete

Supplying and laying 3nos.of 200 mm dia PE 100(IS 4984/1995)10kg HDPE pipe with coupling collars etc. in the existing trench already made for looping one circuit 110kV, 3 core cable through pipe for crossing roads,drain channels and bridges as the drawing and specifications.

Supplyng and Laying 1no. of 63mm dia HDPE,PE 100 (IS 4984/1995), 8/10kg pipe with coupling, collars etc in the existing excavated trench already made for laying OFC cable along the route length including the cost of HDPE . Pulling rope of Poly Propelene of appropriate size to be be provided inside.

Cement concrete 1:3:6 using 40 mm nominal size aggregate ,for side of road berms and as levelling course

Cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) for side of road berms.

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). -for duct formation over culvert portion

Supplying and laying red synthetic warning tape 30 cm width 1 mm thick nes with printing of " DANGER 110KV CABLE KSEB " in black letters of size 200mm x 5 mm and laying in the cable trench during backfilling as per the direction of engineer in charge of the work.

Manufacturing and supply of 110KV cable route/joint marker of size 0.7x0.3x0.075 mtr made in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using 20mm and down size metal and reinforcement as per the accompanying sketch suitably and adequately cured, embedding letters/figures of size 50mm, 6mm deep as "KSEB 110KV CABLE" applying cement primer, painting with enamel paint 2 coats yellow colour for background and black colour for letters including cost of all materials and labour charges etc complete as per Annexure and fixing them in position at 50mts intervals in the cable route or as directed by the departmental officers including excavation of earth and backfilling.(including all cost of reinforcement for 6mm dia.)

Supplying and Laying 200 mm dia HDPE pipe of 3 nos of approved quality with coupling, collars etc for crossing roads with HDD Machine including the cost of drilling, pulling and joining the pipe as directed by the departmental staff.

Supplying and Laying 63mm dia HDPE pipe of 1 no with coupling, collars etc with HDD machine for laying OFC cable seperately for crossing the railway and roads including the cost of drilling, pulling and joining the pipe

Supplying handling and spreading riddled earth in the cable trench forming cushion and cover around the cable including consolidating.

Uncoiling and laying 110kV single core 630mm2 UG cables for a circuit (3 number of cables for one circuit) in separate trefoil formation as per drawing along the already excavated trenches over sand bed formed and looping of cable through the various types of pipes already laid including all charges for handling, uncoiling and paving of cable in trenches using standard cable installation equipments after providing all necessary precautions to be followed as per IS specifications carefully without damaging the existing pipe lines, cables, water lines etc and rectifying the damages if any occured to the existing installations and stacking the balance bits safely etc. complete, but excluding cost of excavations, laying pipes, providing holes, back filling etc and cost of all these items made separately.

Uncoiling and laying optical fibre cable of specified type( specification given in annexure) along the cable trench of 110kv cable through HDPE pipe including cost of all materials and labour charges for splicing the cable using jointing kits at both ends and in between the route lengths where ever necessary.

Installation of straight joint/Cross bonding joint/out door and indoor terminations of 110kv UG cable with providing suitable link box(with or without SVL) ready for earthing as per the direction of departmental officers

Earthing with GI earth pipe 4.5 mtr long , 40 mm dia including accessories and providing masonry enclosure, with cover plate having locking arrangment and watering pipe etc, with charcole, coke and salt and including the cost of earthing cable.

Erection of mounting/supporting structure for 110kV cable end termination fixing cable using suitable clamp fixtures connecting earth lead etc complete as per specification

Testing and commissioning of 110kV, UG cable circuit and OFC as per latest standards including hire charges for testing equipments etc complete.

Transportation of 110kV 630mm2/500 mm2 UG single core cable with drum from the storage place to location at an average distance of 5Km using mobile crane service including all charges for loading, unloading, placing in exact places suitably, returning the balance bit to store etc. complete.

Transportation of Optical fibre cable with drum from the storage place to location at an average distance of 5Km using mobile crane service including all charges for loading, unloading, placing in exact places suitably, returning the balance bit to store etc. complete.

Fabricating, supplying and fixing danger board along the cable route as per drawing including all charges for supplying and fixing 210x 298 mm sign board using 18 gauge MS sheet mounted on MS angle 60x60x60 and 2.75 Metre height( including cost of fittings), embedded in cement concrete block 30x30x45 cm of CC 1:3:6 using 20 mm broken stone and all form works, painting both sides of the board and angle iron with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a priming coat and lettering 2.5 to 4 cm high etc.. complete as per directions of the departmental officers at site.

Laying cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling thejoints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in-charge.

Disposing of surplus earth debris of excavation after refilling including loading, unloading and stacking.
