SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROOF AND ASSOCIATED WORK AT OTM AND MD ACCN AT AF STN HALWARA UNDER GE (AF) HALWARA

Dismantling of brick tiles or terracing tiles single layer on roofs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of mud (mudphuska) in roofs any thickness including plastering and leeping ( whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removal of existing roof treatment including APP membrane over roofs including removing the debris outside the MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in roofs other than ground floor land removal from site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing building materials (debris)outside the MOD land to a distance of not exceeding 100 m from the starting point loading,unloading and stacking at the site outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing 50mm thick average cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) using 20mm graded aggregate as in padding to be provided in slope etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material and labour for providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repairing stagnant water areas, Identify and mark areas on the Mudphuska terrace roof surface where water stagnates due to unevenness. Providing and applying a maximum of 15mm thick polymer-modified mortar (PMM) mix in a 1:5:15 ratio to the marked areas. Mix the mortar with water gradually until a smooth, workable paste is formed. Level the repaired surface. Allow the repaired surface to moisture and air cure for 7-10 days complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge

Material and labour for Roughening and cleaning the junction of wall and floor with wire brush and air blower to remove the dust particles. Moisten the surface with water & apply a bond coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP and cement (1:1) by volume with brush. Providing & Laying angle fillet (gola) of size 75 x 75 mm in width over the bond coat when it is in wet condition complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge

Material and labour for repair all visible hairline cracks on concrete roof screed more than 0.50 mm and not giving hollow sound, should be cut and widen in V shape with mechanical cutter in the size of 10 mm wide and 6 mm deep and filling the cracks with PU sealant / PMM (using SBR pidicrete URP 301)with suitable gun and smoothed with a putty knife or trowel and allow sealant tocure a minimum of 72 Hrs complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge
