REPAIR/RESURFACING OF ROADS AT SMA RAMESWARAM AND INS DRONACHARYA UNDER GE FORT KOCHI

Material and Labour for repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blind with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material and Labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat using paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material and Labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix laid with self propelling mechanical pavers, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to10 tonne power roller to a uniform surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA stripiens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mmx125mmx25mm (shank 65 mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for road line painting 100 mm wide with golden yellow /white thermoplastic compound with reflectorised glass beads on bitumen road, providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC-35 including cleaning of old road marking paints, the finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes in addition where arrows/ letters are to be provided thermoplastic compound may be machine sprayed. The colour of compound shall be all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
