Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m deep and making good Bottom surface for laying /removing of cable, erection of poles in Soft loose soil all as specified and directed by engr in charge

M & L Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point, and depositing where directed complete all as specified.

Returning filling in excavated soil in trenches, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm complete all as specified.

Material and labour for burnt bricks subclass B laid in trenches for cable protection all as specified and directed.

M&L dry clean Sand filling in trenches around underground cables for earth cushion, complete all as specified and directed. (Depth of sand shall be measured after punning). NOTE : For the purpose of Payment, Punned thickness of Sand Cushioning only will be Measured.

Taking out UNSV UG cables of any sizes from trenches/walls incl all mounting accessories and GI tubing and keeping aside in safe custody for relaying after repairs or depositing to store yard incl making good to disturbed areas.

Relaying of UG cable Nominal crosss section Area of 10 to 50 sqmm 2/4 core after testing, carrying out of joining works incl removal of UNSV portions complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Necessary Joints will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Sch A

M&L for LT Cable joining kit straight through heat shrinkable type complete with joining materials suitable for LT Armoured cable of size upto 10 to 25 sqmm all as directed

All as above but for cable sizes 90 to 150 sqmm 3.5 core

M&L for pvc insulated multi stranded copper flexible wire 16 sqmm single core for interconnections in LT panel boards with provn of copper lugs all as specified

M& L for overhauling of LT Panel boards outdoor/indoor of sizes upto 200 x 150 x 50 cms installed at various locations , by disconnecting from mains taking out burnt cable ends and reconnecting using necessary lugs, cable glands, gland plate, gaskets etc and application of necessary mechanical and electrical lubrication when and where as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for painting of LT Panel boards outdoor/indoor of sizes upto 200 x 150 x 50 cms installed at various locations , by scrapping out of rusted uneven surfaces and applying by spray painting two coats of paint of desired shade over a coat of mettallic primer as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for painting of LT Panel boards outdoor/indoor of sizes upto 100 x 100 x 40 cms installed at various locations, by scrapping out of rusted uneven surfaces and applying by spray painting two coats of paint of desired shade over a coat of mettallic primer as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note for item No. 13, 14 & 15:- the quoted rate shall be included minor alteration like cutting/ welding/ replacement of hings etc

Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise provided for as directed

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) for coping in poles and finishing of visible external surfaces incl demolition of old cracked PCC foundation and removal from site.

Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry as in foundations works etc with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar type C1 1; 3:6 , applying of appropriate plaster on external surfaces and incl demolition of existing damaged masonary work as directed.

S & F in repairs Mild steel work in framed work such as Clamps, gratings, ladders etc., with ends of bars welded and/ or riveted, or forged and similar work confirming to Fe 410 - O or Fe 310 - O and incl painting to surfaces using two coats of metallic primer and a coat of synthetic enamelled paint of desired colour as directed.

M/L for GI Strip 32x6 mm with saddle and fixing screws etc from test terminal block to earth pit.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.3 mm thick burried directly in ground /earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below the normal ground level connected to DB/Panel by using GI strip of 32x6 mm sleeved using red colour PVC sleeving as earthing lead soldering/rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected To DB by means of nut, bolts etc complete with PCC pit (1:3:6) type PCC cover with handle, funnel with watering pipe wire mess GI protection pipe light grade 20mm dia for earthing lead complete all as specified and as directed.
