Dismantle and Fix back the valley header Pipelines & Fittings to Facilitate Choke Clearing in Bulk Godown, Offsite area. Work Involves: Collection of required tools and tackles from workshop / tool crib. Make arrangements for dismantling the pipelines from their respective positions and After dismantling the lines, transport these valley header pipelines outside of the godown to facilitate the easy cleaning and to avoid any kind of water spillage inside the bulk godown.Necessary lifting and Scaffolding arrangements to be done as the area is not accessible for the heavy equipments/cranes. Dismantling work should only commence after obtaining process clearance. Before dismantling the lines, ensure that each line is properly marked for easy reassembling the lines. . [Cleaning of the pipes shall be NOT in the scope of contractor]. After choke clearing is completed inspect the pipelines for any leaks and after getting process clearance, fix the pipelines back in position with proper/new gaskets and bolts properly tightned.Size of pipe varies from 200NB to 400NB.The site shall be cleaned after the work. All scrap materials shall be removed from site.

Fabrication and replacement of MS Nozzle carrying rainwater in Bulk Godown at Offsite area. Work involves: Collection and transportation of required materials like pipe, cutting gas cylinders, welding rods etc. from CD - stores and comapny primises (including from other plant areas) if required. The concerned engineer in charge shall inform which Nozzle need to be replaced.Necessary lifting and Scaffolding arrangements to be done as the area is not accessible for the heavy equipments/cranes. The contractor shall take the correct measurement of the nozzle to be replaced.The existing damaged nozzles to be cut and removed and to be replaced with newly fabricated nozzles. The contractor shall make the most economical use of straight pipe length in the fabrication. Nozzles shall be fabricated with necessary fittings to suit the site condition.Consumables such as cutting gas and welding rods for arc welding will be provided by FACT CD. Standard welding procedures will be followed, and DP tests will be conducted for all weld joints if required, including the root weld test. If any joint is found defective, the same shall be rectified properly without additional cost. At the beginning of the work order, if required new cutting gas cylinders will be issued from the Stores dept. at FACT CD. The contractor is responsible for promptly returning the empty cylinders to the stores department. Nozzle size is 150 NB . The site shall be cleaned after the work. All scrap materials shall be removed from site

Patch / Repair / modification works on Valley header pipes and the nozzles etc. with MS plate. Work involves: Collection and transportation of MS Plates [6mm to 12mm thk.] and required materials from CD - stores. Patch / repair / modification works on Valley header pipes and the nozzles etc. shall be done properly to meet the site requirement. Necessary site arrangements including scaffolding shall be done because the area is not accessible for the heavy equipments/cranes. Cutting, shaping / bending and fixing of new plates shall be done after the removal of existing damaged MS plates. Proper welding and grinding shall be done as per the instruction of Engineer incharge to suit with the site condition. .Size of pipe varies from 200NB to 400NB and the size of nozzle is 150NB.The site shall be cleaned after the work. All scrap materials shall be removed from site.

Fabrication and Replacement of MS valley header pipes and fittings with pre fabricated rubberlined pipes in bulk godown at Offsite area. Work involves: The erection/replacement part covers all works required for proper installation of pre-fabricated rubberlined pipes with attached fittings above ground at various position / elevation / pipe bridges after getting the process clearance. The work shall include transportation from owner's storage point, handling, rigging, scaffolding, placing and alignment of pipe and fittings into the respective positions and on to their respective supports.Necessary lifting and Scaffolding arrangements to be done as the area is not accessible for the heavy equipments/cranes.All neccessary arrangements to join the existing pipeline with pre-fabricated rubberlined pipeline to be done by contractor and fittings required to be arranged if any. Joining of the newly fabricated nozzles to be done by cutting the hole in the rubberlined pipe by gas cutting.While cutting the rubber lined pipep, it is to be filled with water to avoid the fire. Water filling and cutting to be done outside of the bulk godown to avoid any water spillage inside the bulk godown. Providing of blind flange/slip plate and removal of it in the pipeline during the replacement is under contractor,s scope. The rate includes all operations necessary to complete a flanged joint like cleaning and preparation of flange faces and gaskets, placing, aligning, installation of gasket and bolts / studs, final alignment and tightening the joint without any leak. Erection of the pipeline shall be carried out without any strain and the rework required if any, for achieving this shall be carried out by the contractor. After replacement of pipe During rain if any joint is found leaking, the same shall be rectified at free of cost.Size of pre-fabricated rubber lined pipes is 400NB.The site shall be cleaned after the work. All scrap materials shall be removed from site.
