| 1.00General Notes: 1) The Tentative/Suggested makes have been specified in the tender document based on requirements of BARC, desired performance, detailed study of the technical parameters, manufacturing process, quality assurance/control & testing. The list is merely for guidance purpose. However, the bidder(s) can prefer any other make(s) which is/are meeting technical specifications given under Section-V, this schedule of Quantities (Schedule 'B') and shall conform to the technical Parameters/performance of the tentative/suggested makes and / or shall conform to the relevant BIS codes or other relevant codes. In case of non-approved makes(s), the bidders(s) shall suggest such equivalent/alternate make/brand, meeting above -mentioned technical parameters, during pre-bid stage and before submission of bid(s) 2) Rates to be quoted by the bidders should be exclusive of GST for all the items but inclusive of all other taxes, duties, CESS, fee, royalty charges etc. levied under any statue for all the items. | ||||||
| 1.103) Only sieved river sand/crushed stone sand from Godavari river or Varaha river or Vamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone manufactured sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 4) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 5) The contractor shall set up sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete. 6) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. No extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from RMC plants outside the project area. 7) Manufacturer's Test certificate of cement which is procured from dealer/company is to be submitted for all cement related works by the contractor. | ||||||
| 1.208) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document "General Scope of all works" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 9) For all standards and code of practices, specifications, like Indian Standard, MORT&H, ASTM, etc. refer only latest revisions including all applicable amendments, revisions and additional publications (during contract period) and these have to be followed. 10)Prior approval for source of all construction materials by submission of relavent test certificates, documents, invoices etc. have to be taken from BARC. 11) All the tests mentioned in Quality Assurance Plan(QAP) should be carried out without any extra cost to BARC. 12) The contractor has to submit all royalty /seigneiorage slips,etc for gravel/murrum and for all the other naturally available construction materials along with all RA and final bills failing which payment will not be made to the contrcator. | ||||||
| 1.30Notes applicable to EARTHWORK EXCAVATION & FILLING WORKS : The rate quoted is deemed to have included the following: a) Removal and cutting of all kinds of vegetation, shrubs, bushes, stumps , roots, grass, weeds, light/heavy jungle etc., trees upto girth of 30 cm when measured 1 metre above ground level alongwith roots, including disposal/stack in the identified location. b) shoring, strutting, stepping, dressing, grading required for keeping the earth in position on sides of trenches with approved timber/steel accessories wherever necessary to prevent sides from falling including bailing or pumping out of water if necessary including removal of debris/unserviceable materials and excavated excess soil, if any. c) dewatering of both ground and surface water, including removal of slurry generated while excavation and keeping the area free from water, to be let out of the building area through proper pipes & channels if required by suitable pumps, d) watering, ramming and thoroughly consolidate the bottom of all excavations & ground before the construction of foundation/footing/plinth beam, filling in basement or other work is commenced. e) the loose pockets shall be excavated and compacted after back filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge, as per detailed specification and conforming to safety rules during progress of the work. f) Contour levels to be taken jointly with the Engineer-in-charge and prior written approval be taken before starting any excavation/ filling at every 3 m grids for arriving at the actual quantity | ||||||

Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted including in built up sections for columns, beams, trusses, structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, drilling, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of zinc chromate steel primer of approved make as per annexure B of section VII etc., complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections using materials of approved quality. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials.
Providing, supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting and fixing in position structural steel members for gates, hand rails etc. using MS hollow circular / square / rectangular sections along with the associated connections including applying a coat of primer using redoxide before and after erection and two coats of first quality anticorrosive polyurethene paint all as per Technical specifications, drawings, complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Masonry work with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 river sand/ crushed stone sand) uniformly mixed in machine with approved 'non-shrinking compound' as per manufacturer’s instruction in specified courses of approved bond also providing horizonatal RCC band of 100/150/200/230mm x 100 mm (or as directed) at about 1.00 m c/c with 2 nos. 8 mm dia rebars and 8 mm dia links at 300 mm c/c in cement concrete (1:2:4), required formwork, complete including pointing, raking out joints, curing, cleaning, including independent double legged scaffolding, at all heights, depths and leads, dewatering area where required etc., all as per typical drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing 17mm thick machine cut, mirror polished approved Granite stone/equivalent approved range and shade granite stone of approved colour and pattern for Risers and trades /Frames/Architraves/soffits/Jambs/Sills/Urinal partitions etc. of required sizes as shown in drawing or directed by the Engineer-in-charge, fixed with cement paste about 4.0 Kgs/sqm, fully buttering cement slurry on back, fixed to correct line, level and plumb over the plastered surfaces. Providing 15 mm thick Plain Internal Plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (using river sand) finished smooth, including sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of the surface, double steel tubular scaffolding, curing all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site etc. complete all as per Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing 20 mm thick water proof plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (using river sand) finsihed smooth with a floating coat of neat cement including approved water proofing compound added @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of surface, scaffolding at all heights, curing all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site.
Providing, painting, finishing walls with Premium Acrylic smooth exterior paint on sand face plaster / plain plaster & concrete surfaes with Silicone additives of required shade (Two coats, each applied @ minimum1.43 ltr / 10 sqm) over and above a base coat of water proofing cement paint to be applied @ minimum 2.20 kg / 10 sqm including preparation of the surfaces, including erection of double tubular scafolding complete all as per technical specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

G.I. Providing and fixing Grid System False Ceiling using Pin / Fine Fissured Model Ceiling Tiles using pre coated (Exposed portion only) GI T Grid system in 600 x 600mm module which includes providing and fixing wall angle along the perimeter of the room with help of nylon sleeves and wooden screws at 300mm centers. Then suspending the main tee of size from the soffit with help of soffit cleat, rawl plugs and wire rod with Leveling spring clip at 1200mm c/c. 1200mm Cross Tee is then interlocked into the precut slots in the main Tees at 600mm centres in direction perpendicular to the main Tee to make a grid of 600 x 1200mm.Finally 600mm Cross tees are then interlocked into the pre cut slots in the 1200mm tees at 1200mm centres and in direction parallel to the main tee. Cross tees having length more than 600mm are to be supported independently.15mm thick pin square / reveal / narrow reveal edge mineral fibre tiles of size 595 x 595mm shall be placed into the grid size of 600 x 600mm.

Supplying, fabricating, testing, transporting, handling and erecting at required positions and levels metal roofing and canopy roofing including flashings and insulation etc. as per approved drawings and design including all consumables and taxes comprising of the following: Double skin insulated standing seam roofing system comprising of 0.50 mm thick Colour Coated / Bare Al-Zinc Alloy coated steel 0.50 mm TCT with overall width of 400 to 500mm by seaming for 100% water tightness on outer face and 0.50 mm thick inner liner sheet with Galvalume sheet profile and physical material properties as specified. These sheets shall be fixed on specially reinforced polyamide or acetylyte anti friction di electric brackets at every location for permitting unhindered, free sheet movement at all required locations. The profile shall have a special in built drainage joint at side laps to make it fully watertight even in fully submerged condition. It shall have overall depth of 100 mm from horizontal after fixing . The side laps shall be of interlocking type without requirement of any mechanical seamer. Insulation: This shall be comprising of two layers of Rockwool insulation each of 50 mm thick with density of 48 kg / Cu. M. Sub Grit (Top Hat) 1.5 mm thick Glavanised steel hat section fixed to main purlins, above first layer of insulation, to support the aluminium sheets. Inner linear sheet of 0.60 mm nominal TCT of physical material properties as specified. Vapour Control layer : The wapour Contol layer to reduce the movement of water vapour from inside the building through the Roof construction to reduce the risk of condensation shall consists of 3 layermembrane to be laid continuous across its surface shall be fully sealed at laps, perimeters, penetrations to ensure effectiveness & aluminium foil of 0.50mm thick laid over insulation board including Supplying, fabricating, testing, transporting, handling and erecting at required positions and levels metal roofing and canopy roofing including flashings and insulation etc. as per approved drawings and design including all consumables and taxes comprising of the following:
