SPL REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AT VARIOUS AREA UNDER GE N BINNAGURI

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving's nexc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for repairs to potholes of any depth not exceeding 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust & mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc, cutting around edge to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @5 kg per 10 sq m using paving bitumen of (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam using (VG-30) bitumen, well rammed and sealed with binder of paving bitumen (VG-10) 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing of existing black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor and gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20 - 0.30 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in table 500-5 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye after cleaning of existing surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 2 to 2.5 mm thick painting to road surfaces not exc. 10 cm width as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters , zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 kg/Sqm and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painted surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. (Note. The painting shall be carried out through mechanical appliances by the company's approved applicatior).

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm deep including removing stacking and deposing off, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 10 ton power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of limestone, sand stone, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

All as serial item No. 7.00 as above but except material, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Stone aggregate obtained from respective item of this schedule.

M&L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (SS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70 - 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix of any penetration compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly.
