Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete.(a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

(b) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 1,500 mm. and upto 3,000 mm. but not requiring shoring.

(c) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 3000 mm. upto 4000mm. excluding cost of shoring as necessary.

Dewatering by pumps including all leads, lifts and making all arrangements of disposal, where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage, breakage and making wet connections. [Note : - In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering. use of this item is to be approved by the Superintending Engineer/Tender Accepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific direction duly supported by proper clarification of the E.I.C. who will be satisfied in absolute discretion that such work has not been necessitated due to any natural source of water or any fault of the Contractor (Consider 3 days of 8 HRs working with 2 HP Pump Capacity)

Supplying Eucalyptus-bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. (iii) 150mm diameter

Labour for driving Sal-bullah / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. (iii) 150mm diameter

Dressing and chilchalling flanks or slope of embankment including filling with earth or cutting upto 150 mm. average thickness and ramming properly after sprinkling water.

Compacting earthwork in embankment in layers of 25 cm. by power roller or by any other mechanical means, like tractor driven sheep foot roller/ vibrating plate compactor earth rammer etc., (not at OMC) including necessary watering, labour charges, hire charges of all materials, tools & plants etc. and including cost and supply of all materials complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Payment will be made on the basis of Pre-work & Post-work level)

Turfing with Sods Furnishing and laying of the live sods of perennial turf forming grass on embankment slope, verges or other locations shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer including preparation of ground, fetching of sods and watering as per Clause 307 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Disposal / carriage of excavated earth / materials outside Government land by truck or by any other conveyance over kancha / pucca road including making access for plying the truck or any other conveyance beyond 300 m from the excavated point including cost of stacking, loading, unloading, transporting, arrangement of land, if required by agency, spreading and levelling as necessary etc. complete. Measurement : By stacks at loading point after deducting voids as per rule. (This item can only be used after obtaining permission from the concerned Superintending Engineer).

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition (considering each [email protected]) 3 layers

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Supplying and Planting of different plant / trees ( Supplying well grown plants bushy and healthy, minimum height as specified i.e. exposed height including all leads & lift, carriage, handling, manuring, applying presticide and fertilizer etc. x) Ficus blakii (F. Vivicon) well branched (Bushy) of height 120cm - 135 cm in earthen pot of size 30cm.

Removal of rubbish,earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge
