8460 COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF EOT CRANES AND REPAIRS / REPLACEMENT OF WORN OUT PARTS OF EOT / HOT CRANES AT DRDL KALINGA UNDER AGE (I) RnD NSTL, VISAKHAPATNAM

M&L for Comprehensive maintenance consisting of normal repairs and preventive maintenance of the following electrically operated overhead travelling (EOT) cranes floor operated in various buildings complete at DRDL project cell Kalinga under AGE (I) (R&D) NSTL complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge:- a) Capacity up to 25 Ton in VIB-II Building [Flame proof type]- 02 Nos b) Capacity up to 10 Ton in VIB-I Building – 01 No c) Capacity up to 15 Ton in VIB 1 Building - 01 No d) Capacity up to 15 Ton in MPPTF Building [Flame proof type]- 02 Nos e) Capacity up to 05 Ton in BSF Building [Flame proof type] – 01 No f) Capacity up to 10 Ton in MSB Building [Flame proof type] – 02 Nos g) Capacity up to 30 Ton in ASH - I Building [Flame proof type]- 01 No

Note: (i) The contractor has to employ minimum one experienced semiskilled technician having knowledge on cranes and one unskilled to carry out the regular maintenance for smooth and effective functioning of Cranes with checking the break system, lubricaiton and filling the oil including Sunday and Holidays and the cost deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.(ii) Any complaints regarding breakdown will be attended with in 24 hours failing which an amount of Rs 1090/- per day for semiskilled and Rs.970/- per day for Helper as per current rates circulated by Labour Commissioner at the time of bill processing will be deducted from the RAR due to the contractor. (iii) Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintenance for EOT cranes under monthly maintenance. (iv) Necessary tools kits & plants like ladder,lube oil containers,Grease, cotton waste,transportation etc., required to attend the break down if any, shall be provided by the contractor and the cost is deemed to include in the unit rate quoted. (v) The contractor should submit the identity proof of Technician/Person visiting the site and also responsible for the integrity of the personnel attending the break down and monthly visits.

Supply only less weight 15 way pendent push button station with all push buttons and push button contacts complete set housed in box with powder coated paint or PVC suitable of 5 Ton to 30 Ton EOT Crane complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Supply only new steel rope of suitable size /dia of costruction to match the existing system suitable for 5/10/15/25/30 ton capacity EOT cranes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer- In- Charge. Make: Usha Martin

Disconnecting and taking down electromagnatic thruster/Hydraulic Braker unit from the crane, shifting to work shop, dismantaling all parts, replacement of unserviceable parts like bearings, Brake coil, thruster oil, assembling, shifting to existing location and fixing in a same position for EOT crane upto 30 Ton capacity complete testing the system all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of unservicable cable trolleys from the system and supply & fix new cable trolley as per existing size and model suitable for existing system and adjusting the cable correctly for free moment on long travel and cross travel cable tracks, complete all as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply, replace, testing and commissioning of Long Travel, Cross Travel and Main Hoist Electro Hydraulic Flame proof thruster Brake Assembly suitable for 5 Ton to 25 Ton on EOT Crane, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge Make : BCH/SOC/Storm Craft.

Supply only trailing cables of size 4 core 1.5 sqmm (elastometric rubber cable) Annealed tinned flexible copper conductor, EPR insulated, cores laid up with filters (wherever necessary) and binder taped, PCP outer sheathed cable of 1100 volts conforiming to IS: 9968 (Pt-1) 198 &(Pt-2) for 5/10/15/25/30 ton capacity EOT cranes complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Orbit/ Uniflex/ Polycab/ Finolex

All as per Item no 7 above here-in-before but of size 4 core 2.5 sqmm

M&L for dismantling & taking down LT / CT Wheel from Flame proof EOT cranes of capacity up to 30 Ton, greasing, overhauling including replacing bearings as per existing size and make all as directed by Engineer-in-charge Note:(i) Cost of bearings shall be measured and paid separately above respective of schedule

Supply only gear wheels/shafts with connected fixing accessories suitable to match the existing system of capacity 30 ton EOT Cranes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply only gear wheels/shafts with connected fixing accessories suitable to match the existing system of capacity 15 ton EOT Cranes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply only power contactor of rating up to 40 Amps with 2 NO + 2 NC suitable for EOT cranes of capacity up to 30 Ton complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Siemens/ GE/Legrand/ C & S

Supply only long lever type 2 way limit switches suitable for CT & LT operation of EOT cranes of capacity up to 30 Ton complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Siemens/ Speed-O-Controls/ EMM

Supply only relay base up to 25 Amps with fixing terminal, screws for EOT Cranes of Capacity up to 30 Ton complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, filling of New Gear oil 50 grade as per IS: 8406-1993 complete form the speed contol / transfer gear meshbox /sumps/ boxes/ tank of LT/CT ,main Hoist/ Auxilary Hoist for electrically operated overhead traveling (EOT) cranes all as specified and directed Make : Indian Oil / Servo / shell / HPCL Note:- Gear oil shall be replaced once in a year / as directed by the Eng-in-Charge for hoist travel, cross Travel and long travel gear boxes

Supply only breake oil suitable for EOT crane up to 30 Ton cap as per manufacture recommendation or directed by Engr In Charge. Make : Servo/HP/Castrol

Disconnecting & removing damaged PCBs, control wiring, rectifier and relays, S&F in replacement relay PCB Board high capacity,flux protection NO contact form rated coil voltage 110V AC to 12 V AC supply single pole 10Amps Suitable up to 30 Ton Crane, suitable size of rectifier includig complete control wiring for smooth functining of EOT crane all as directed and specified.

Replacement of Brake shoe linears (6/8mm thick) made of treated fabric linning and secured with aluminium rivets complete suitable for EHT/EMDC brake of 150 to 300mm drum size including revetting to brake shoe all as directed.

M&L for dismantling & taking down existing unserviceable GI 'C’ track trailing cable trolley system and S&F new GI 'C’ track trailing cable trolley system consisting of GI 'C’ track, track joints with 4 Nos 5 mm locking bolts including drilling & tapping work, fixing clamps with GI bolts 75 mm long, nuts & washers, 4 Nos GI bearings fixed type cable holding and moving trolleys as required, end stoppers, trolley with cable clamps, PVC cable tie 250 mm long as per required quantity complete set suitable for 25/30 Ton EOT Crane `C’ Track trailing cable DSL system and Cross Travel Pendent push button independent moving arrangements all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting electrically of EOT crane panel and M & L for scrapping and cleaning the old painted surfaces of entire panel internally and externally wire brushes etc. including removing croded area, burn stains using appropriate cleaning agents and applying two spray coats of heat retardant paint of approved tint all as directed by Engineer-in-charge
