Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exc. 400 Sqm & depth exc 50mm but not exc. 100mm, removing not exc. 50m and stacking as directed.

M & L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to20mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required (Granite trap or basalt) by using 8 to12 Tonne power roller as directed.

M & L for Preparing of un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat paving bitumen primer @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm.

M & L for premix bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber ( consolidated thickness 50mm) in narrow width complete, binder content in (Paving bitumen any penetration), using paving bitumen @ 4% (V-30) by weight of total mix finished, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 Tonne power roller

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bituminous primer (VG-30 Grade) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semidense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% (bitumen VG-30 Grade) binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen laid with mechanical paver and any penetration rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulders masonry, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlars facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using (20mm round or chamfered on edges graded stone aggregate), as in kerb, kerb stones including necessary formwork.

Supply and fixing in repairs of Cats Eye white/ yellow colour of ABS plastic metal with two Nos of red reflectors including fixing with approved adhesive/ fastener on road as in repairs including taking down of existing one. (series OS-780 of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 20 mm) Make: (3M/ Dark Eye/ Oscar) or equivalent complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of black bituminous road surfaces applying thermoplastic road marking reflector special paint, minimum 2.5 mm thick, with machine application and heat mixer with 20% glass beads with stirring mechanism at temperature 160 degree celsius laid uniformly with width as directed. paint conforming to BS 3262 Part I & II of 1989 etc complete all as per manufacturers instruction and as directed.

Material and labour for moorum/ red bajri 100 mm thick (spread thickness) as in road side shoulders, spread rolled and compacted to using power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Moorum shall be brought from outside MD land royally if any shall be borne by the contractor. The rate includes for transportation of moorum irrespective of the distance involved.
