S&F in repairs, second class hard wood clean sawn in scantlings framed & fixed to replace old and decayed timber (including piecing, scarfing, etc., of old and new timbers if required) and removing defective portions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing new or previously untreated wood or wooden surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description in steel trusses, purlins , roof railings etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness , including nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling asbestos cement (corrugated , semicorrugated etc ) sheets in roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 40mm thick average thickness PCC (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in levelling course / padding over roof surface with & including water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement, surface to be finished even & smooth with using extra cement to receive APP membrane including cleaning the roof top surface , brick tiles or concrete surfaces by picking vegetation roots, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc and filling the damaged joints of brick tiles in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for APP polymeric water proofing treatment to roof using membrane minimum 3mm thick and weighing not less than 3.6 kg/sqm, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt (weight not less than 150gms /sqm) with thermo fusible finish laid by force application after applying compatible bitumen primer @0.40 lt per sqm , by the same membrane manufacturer of density 0.87 to 0.89 kg/lit at 25 degree C temperature & viscosity 70-160 cps over the primer coat , torching over laps with propane or butane gas torch with a over lap of 100 mm at side and 150mm at the ends and sealing including a tack coat of hot blown bitumen 85/[email protected] kg/sqm below APP complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) The water proofing traetment shall be got carried out by manufacturer or their authorised applicators duly approved by GE in writing (ii) 5% amount of the total water proofing treatment shall be retained as gurantee and shall be released after years. However, contractor may deposit FDR of same amount in favour of GE. If contractor fail to rectify the defect pointed out during this period in writing, the defect shall be got rectified at Contractor risk and cost of payment shall be made from amount kept reserved or by encashing the FDR deposited by Contractor as gurantee. Contractor's quoted rate for this item shall deemed to be inclusive of this aspect.

M&L for preparation of APP top surface & application of two coats water proofing paint with aluminium finish on top complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 400x400mm , 8-10mm thick roof cool tiles skid resistant , white colour fixed with tile adhesive mortar as per manufacturer's instructions, having provision of spacer / joints 4mm wide and filling the joints with waterproofing epoxy compound to match the shade of tiles over roof waterproofing surface complete all as specified & as directed.

Material & labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate ) as in roof kerbs or mud stops and the like, rounded or chamfered on edges complete & demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of aprroved colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing 110mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length fixed to wall with PVC clamps including dismantling existing pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) bend any radius including jointing with solvent cement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down the shutter exc 1 sqm n. exc 2 sqm and refixing in same opening after minor repairs complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of roof top surface, providing & applying PU based waterproofing & heat reflecting system having properties UV resistant & resistant to yellowing & weathering, high elastic & crack bridging, non-toxic and VOC compliant water based coating, single component ready to use, water vapour permeable having solid content 60% (ASTM D 1644), density 1.30 gm/cc, 350% elongation, tensile strength 2.8 to 2.9 N/sqmm & solar reflective index 100. The material is applied as follows- (a) Applying primer over prepared surface with Homeshield PU roofkoat of Make Berger or equivaent as approved by GE. The material & water in 1:1 ratio by weight having total thickness 0.4 to 0.5mm, glass fibre reinforced & consumption 0.25 kg per sqm. The surface shall be cured for 2-4 Hrs depending on climatic conditions. (b) Applying second coat with Homeshield PU roofkoat of Make Berger or equivaent with consumption 0.50 kg per sqm. The surface shall be cured for 12 Hrs depending on climatic conditions. (c) Applying final coat with Homeshield PU roofkoat of Make Berger or equivaent with consumption 0.50 kg per sqm. Note : (i) The entire work shall be executed through authorized applicator of approved make & gurantee of waterproofing shall be 10 years. (ii) Performance gurantee of amount @5% of waterproofing treatment shall be submitted by contractor for period of 10 years.
