SCHEDULE `A' PART-XIII MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK (Note for items 14 to 38. The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)
Supply and fixing 80 mm bore gun metal, globe or gate valve, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixing complete all as specified and directed .
S&F of OPR-60 Early streamer Emission (ESE) lightening protection air terminal with NFC-17-102 standards complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F AI/SS /GI Pipe fabrication support structure providing with guy wire and MAST 5M mounting mast and suitable base plate should have been provision system termination arrangement for the down- conductor complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F of ABB lightning flash counter working electro mechanically without any power supply equipment should count lightening strokes of 0.4 KA to 150 KA complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and installation of 70 sqmm copper cable down conductor with suitable mounting accessories & GI protection pipe of size 25mm dia. The mounting clamp should be conductive material complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and fix mild steel galvanised steel punched type concertina coil 1050 mm dia (dia of coil when unstretched ) and fixed to angle iron with 3.15 mm dia GI wire complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply, installing, testing and commissioning out door type step down transformer, HT 33/11 KV, 03 phase with OFF load tap changer switch , secondary 11KV, 03 phase with off load tap changing on HT side to vary secondary voltage within limit, AC, 3 phase, 50 HZ, as per IS:2026 of capacity 3.15MVA, core type copper wound, oil immersed, naturally cooled, Oil natural, air natural (ONAN), with external cooling tubes, delta connected on primary side (HV) and star connected on secondary side (LV) in accordance with vector symbol, DYN-11 (Vector Group) with neutral brought out on secondary side (LV side) and having tapping at +- 7.5% in step of 2.5% each HV side to be changed by means of hand operated off load tap changer gear. The maximum temperature rise should not exceed 45 degree Celsius in oil and 55 degree Celsius in HV / LV winding when measured by resistance method after continuous full load run on an ambient temp of 55 degree Celsius. Hot spot temperature rise over a maximum yearly weighted temperature of 32 degree C and should be 98 degree C IS-2006 marked with all accessories and fittings as per IS-2026 or as per latest IS. The core of transformer shall be bottles to reduce hot spots and first grade CRGO sheet shall be used. The insulation level (impulse with stand in KV peak) shall be 170 on HV and 75 on LV side impulse level (power frequency) with stand in KV rms shall be 70 on HV and 28 on LVside. The percentage impedance of transformer at 75 degree C rated current frequency should be 6.25% (IS tolerance) IS 2026 marked and shall comprise of following
(a) Three nos porcelain bushing suitable for 33 KV on HV side complete with copper rods, nuts and washers and arching horns. (b) One cable box HT side (Secondary side) consisting of three Nos porcelain with copper bushing rods complete with nuts and washers with two Nos cable gland suitable for reception / taking out of PVC /XLPE insulated heavy duty HT armoured cables including gland, joint and jointing materials complete. (c) Oil conservator with filter type drain valve and oil level gauge. (d) Dehydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent. (Silica gel) (e) Explosion vents. (f) Thermometer pocket on tank cover.
(g) One No. 100 mm dia, dial type thermometer, vapour pressure type having range 0-120 degree Celsius with metal guard having maximum perimeter reading temperature indicator with resisting device for transformer. (h) Two earthing terminals on tank cover to facilitate fixing of 32 X 6 mm galvanized iron earth strip for earthing of neutral & body. (j) Rating plate and terminal marking plate. (k) Oil level gauge. (l) Oil drain filler valve. (m) Lifting lugs. (n) Oil filling hole with cap / plug with connecting plate complete. (o) Air release valve plug. (p) Four plain solid cast steel detachable rollers. (q) Extra bushing for neutral, outside the LT Cable box for providing independent earthing for neutral.
(r) First filling of new and unused transformer oil IS-335/93 (fourth revision) marked filtered and tested upto50 KV dielectric strength at 2.5 mm air gap between testing electrodes. (s) One danger notice board having conventional danger sign of skull with bones in painted in red colour. (t) Buchholz relay (having contacts for alarm & trip). Note I :-Certification of electric strength shall be submitted by the contractor, after filling the oil. Note II :- Including all control wiring with copper conductor multi core of suitable size (Transformer to control panel in P/H)
Supply, transporting,erection,testing& commissioning of 36kV,1800MVA,1250A,50Hz,voltage class outdoor type Vacuum Circuit Breaker,for use on system voltage 33kV along with indoor CRP panel as per description below. The Circuit Breaker and accessories shall confirm to IEC 62271-100 or IS 13118 and other relevant IEC/IS standard. The Circuit breaker shall be complete with terminal connection, operating mechanism,controlcabinets,cableaccessories,withgland,terminalblock,lugs,necessary steel support structure for CB and control cabinet. Supply, Installation, testing , Commissioning of 11kV Air Insulated HT Indoor type Switchgear Panels with maximum system voltage rating of 12kV consisting of following (a) Incomers of 800A VCB 2 Nos (b) 3 Nos Buscoupler 11 KV of 800A VCB (riser,if applicable) (c) 09 Nos Outgoing Feeders with 800A VCB (d) Copper Busbar Rating of 1250 Amps,Short Circuit Capacity of 26.3kA .Bus-bars shall have full Voltage Sleeving on it and shall be self-supported type ,i.e. without any support insulators .
Note : (i) The Incomer Panels shall contain Line PT arragement . The Panel, Vacuum Circuit Breaker , Vacuum Bottle, Numerical relays shall be of same make as the Panel Manufacturer . Bus bar should be of electrolyte Copper.The panel shall be tested for IAC AFLR for 26.3kA/1s. The IED (Numerical relay) shall be Complied to 61850 protocol without any external protocol converter.GOOSE signals shall be freely configurable.WEB HMI feature should be present.Inter-opera+B4bility test shall preferably shall be done.Proof w.r.t Interoperability shall be submitted by the Manufacturer.The relay shall have integral arc-protection based on simultaneous detection of current and light to ensure reduced cubicle damage and increase personal safety. (<15 ms) The relay must support IEC 61850 Edition 1 and Edition 2(with test reports) and shall supports HSR and PRP redundancy protocols. It shall comply with international standard of NERC CIP or BREW for cyber security . Seperate TCS and Mastertrip relay to be provided -01 Nos (d) Auxiallry relay fro transformer OTI. (e) WTI and Bucholz. Annuncitor window. (iv) Bus Coupler shall be configured as follows : (a) Accessories including Breaker Control Switch (T-N-C), space heater with thermostat, DC , AC control circuit through MCB, Indicating Lamps for RYB, spring charge, DC healthy, Breaker ON/OFF/TRIP and TEST/ SERVICE position. .
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 11 KV Outdoor type extensible RMU floor mounted with internal eletrolytic grade copper bus bars, consisting of combinations of 630 Amp 2 Nos. fixed manual Load Break Switch as incomer & 1 Nos. fixed type manual Vacuum Circuit Breaker. All live parts, bus bars, LBSs connections of RMU shall be enclosed in on+B3e tank to avoid multiple interconnections & sealed for life robotically welded non magnetic and non ferrite grade stainless steel tank Grade 304 of minimum 2.5 mm thick having IP67 degree of protection filled with SF6 gas as insulation with leakage rate less than 0.1% per year tested as per IEC 62271-200. The unit shall have front cable entry for ease of installation and shall have site replaceable bushings for ease of troubleshooting during breakdown. RMU should be complete with all accessories such as Terminal boots, VPIS, cable supports, all front cable terminations, mechanical indications for Load break switch ON/OFF, Manometer as per with IEC standards 62271-200, 60056, 60129, 60265, 60298, 60420, 60529 and 60694. Altitude of installation up to 1000m as per IEC 60120. Extensible Bushings, if applicable shall be bolted type top mounted outside the tank for connection of external bus bar .Also, the outer enclosure shall cover the full length of the switchgear, to ensure IP3X+IP54 protection for cable boxes . RMU should be SCADA Compitable. The unit shall be internal arc proof 21kA for 1 sec. for tank +Cable Box , and tested and totally safe for human beings. The gas release & personnel safety with internal arc proof shall not depend on plinth design.
The release of gas to be from the top of the unit, so that, even if the person is operating the unit, opening the cover, & there are personnels near the sides of the RMU/plinth, top release will ensure their safety. The release in no case should be from any side or bottom of the unit, as the same is unsafe for the operating personnel/pedestrian or general public. Bidder shall provide type test report to prove compliance to the ‘Internal fault IAC-AFLR as per IEC 62271-200.Internal arc proof & testing shall be done with enclosure door in open condition, with switching devices in operation mode. The Vacuum Bottle shall be of same make as that of RMU to ensure better life cycle optimization for the RMU. The Manufacturer shall furnish performance Certificate for similar kind of RMUs in their own legal Name . Any Joint venture certificates / partnership with other firms shall not be considered. RMUs, VCB Panels, Outdoor PCVCBs, CRP shall be from one same Manufacturer to ensure ease of maintenance after expiry of warranty period. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting required at site.

Note I :- Including all control wiring with copper conductor multi core of suitable size shall be catered with 33 KV HT switch gear complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and install 33 KV single phase out door oil cooled PT of ratio 33 KV/rt3/110 V /rt3/110V /rt3 class 0.5 -3 , Burden 50 VA-50 VA, insulation level 70/170 KV, voltage factor 1.2 cont and 1.9 for 30 sec , confirming to IS-3156. Note II :- Including all control wiring with copper conductor multi core of suitable sizeshall be catered with 33 KV HT switch Gear complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and install HT 33 KV outdoor type gang operated air-break switch suitable for horizontal mounting fixed type complete with 9 insulator and with earth switch of 400Amps with its mounting arrangment complete all as specified and directed.

(iii) Each capacitor step shall be protected with 3 Nos of 11KV HRC fuses. Further it shall also be provided with0.2% series reactors for limiting in-rush current. Each capacitor step is energized through APFC relay (auto operation) or through ON / OFF push buttons provide on the cubicle (Manual operation) suitable thermostat, cubical illumination lamps, etc shall be provided for each continious current (Amps) :- 130% of rated current rated short time current:- 16.66 times rated current / 2 sec IS-5553, Part 4-1989. (xii) Bus bar or appropriate rating for incoming and outgoing connections suitable to withstand short curcuit current 35KS for 1 second made of tinned aluminium bus bar, support insulators, cables, ferrules, terminal borrs mounted on SMC silicon free chlorine free post insulators and arranged such a way that the joints are minimum. (xiii) Emergency push button to disconnect the unit incase of emergency. Note : APFC panel shall be manufactured by original manufacturer i.e. Schneider/L&T/Siemens only. The approved vendor for capacitor banks should have their own manufacturing facility or major components such as capacitors, reactors, conductors, control and protection relays and enclosure sustem. The firms specified specified cannot authorise any other vendors to manufacture APFC panel on their behalf and the panel so manufactured will not be accepted. The panel manufactured by original manufacturer only with external bus.

Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning single phase input supply, single phase output, PWM technology IGBT based, ON line battery charger for standard maintenance free (SMF) battery bank with features of protection in case of High and Low voltage etc. of capacity not less than 5KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Manning and Operation of 33/11KV substation under defect liability period of following installations including maintain proper day to day repord / log sheet complete with following qualified technical staff along with proper tools/saftey measures, own conveyance, transport and T&P including communication system for personal communication with GE office:- 1. Power Transformer 33/11KV 3.15MVA- 02 Nos 2. 33KV SF6 Breakers, 33KV Yard, DGOD, CT, PT 3. 11KV VCB Panels 4. 11Kv APFC Panel 5. Load Break Switch and connected accessories. 6. HT cables and Joints. (i) The contractor will ensure proper functioning all electrical installation like HT VCB, transformer, HT/LT cables with joints, GO/DO, all external electric supply works as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-Chagre.
(ii) Cost of fixing/refixing/removing, transport, communication system, uniform all type of tools as required deemed to be included in the unit cost. New 33/11KV Substation (a) First shift - 2 Electrician (b) Second shift - 2 Electrician (c) Third shift - 2 Electrician (iii) The rate of recovery in case of absence of manpower shall be as under:- (a) Electrician Rs 500/- per day per shift per electrician (iv) Electrician should be well experienced (minimum 6-8 years) in the field/ITI qualified with (2-3 Yr) experience and well experience of Electrical services sectors all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (v) All petty consumable items required for repair like nuts, bolts, washers, screws, tapes, grease oil/lubricants, copper lugs for connections etc deemed to be included in the cost. (Note : Daily cleaning of all rooms viz floor, walls and ceiling fan including internal electrical fixtures, HT VCBs, APFC panel and 33KV yard shall be deemed included in quoted rate by contractor. (vi) Manpower/ electrician employed in the work shall not continue working beyond 11 months.
