1.1 - Vehicle Airport Entry Portal Drg. No. - Refer design drawing 1.3a-2S, 1.3a-2G Design, Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of OUTDOOR TYPE following sizes illuminated weather proof IP-65 protected openable glow sign board of minimum thickness of 110 mm for double sided and 70 mm for single sided as per enclosed drawings & specification. Signage shall made out of 1.44mm thick aluminium extruded profiles with concealed hinged profile system, extrusions with anodizing / epoxy powder coating of approved shade & colour and have necessary light proof ventilation arrangement. The text / signage matter shall be electrocut computerized automated self-adhesive vinyl graphics of 3M black out film behind, and yellow message created by using 3M yellow 3630-015 translucent film to be transferred on cast acrylic sheet of 5 mm thick on the readable side of the box to be pasted with 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double side adhesive tape in extruded Alu. section and easy for graphic changes, rubber gasketing concealed in to the profile sections, (single sided shall have 1.5mm thick Aluminium sheet for back). The box to have door stay to hold the shutter in an open position and easy access for maintenance complete. The illumination source shall be of LED's with suitable individual current regulator suitable for operation on 230V AC supply and LED shall be fixed inside the frame to obtain uniform illuminations along with connectors, concealed internal wiring in Al. extrusion section, earthing the body, complete as required, as per specifications & drawing enclosed. The box can be mounted on wall or from ceiling with MS tubes duly powder coated on the desired location approved by Engineer- In- charge & as per site conditions including extension the wiring in flexible PVC conduit with couplers / PVC casing capping from the nearest power point with 5A ISI mark plug top complete as required. Sign Structure: Providing a Square Sign post of 300 x 300 mm, 5.4mm thick MS hollow sections including welded Base plate in 8mm thick MS Plate and Gussets in 6mm thick MS Plate as per drawing with holes to fix it on holding down bolts anchored in concrete footing. The post shall closed with a 6 mm thick MS plate and parts kept unpainted to weld the sign structure as per the drawing to ensure a rigid connection at site. The entire post assembly shall be hot dipped galvanized and P.U.Paint to match RAL 9006 as specified and approved by the Engineer-Incharge. The Post shall be always be a single continuous element without any joints. Cost to include all activities and temporary props used for a perfect vertical in plumb installation, shim Plates for adjustment of levels and filling the gap with concrete slurry etc. required for fixing the sign in an external location. The item cost includes all accessories such as suitable heavy iron fixing structure to withstand high wind velocity condition for Silchar Airport, thimbles, end connectors, nut-inserts, screws , rivets, bolts, washers, nuts,etc. complete as required. Foundation: Providing and laying foundation for the sign including its compaction and all activities like Excavation, PCC base layer, providing and fixing in position electrical connection wherever applicable and finished as per drawing. The item cost includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location, and making good the location to the match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign. Accessories: Providing and fixing all accessories such as thimbles, end connectors, nut-inserts, screws , rivets, bolts, washers, nuts, etc. complete as per drawing. Replacement of exisiting faded illuminated taxiway guidance signages sheet of various sizes made of 4 mm thick poly carbonate sheet with glare free face etc. The letters and symbols shall be internally pasted/screen printed with required coloring. The suitable arrangement shall be made for water tightness and locking arrangement. The taxiway guidance signages letter shall be as per ICAO and conforming to technical specifications. (Legends shall be as approved by Engineer-in -charge).

Design, Manufacturing, supply, installation, connection, testing and commissioning of OUTDOOR TYPE illuminated taxiway guidance signages as per ICAO Standard of various sizes made of anodized 2 mm (nominal) thick extruded aluminium profile frame with suitable stiffening supports for structural rigifity, 1.5 mm thick aluminium back cover, 4 mm thick poly carbonate sheet with glare free face, supporting legs, breakable coupling etc. The letters and symbols shall be interallypasted/screen printed with with required coloring. The sign boards shall be uniformly interally illuminated with required number of LEDs strips to achieve required illumination level, alonwith drivers, interal control circuit, automatic changeover to function on both main & standby (runway/taxiway) cicuits etc and shall operate without any flickering when operated on input source of 2.8 Amps. to 6.6 amps. series current. The suitable arragement shall be made for water tightness and locking arrangement. the signages shall be installed on 1:2:4 grade cement concreteof size 400x400x500 mm for each leg and total base of 150 mm thick for the distance of 1.5 mtr. all around the board including installation of isolating transformer, crimping/ jointing of plug & receptacles, laying of secondary leads, connections, earthing etc. complete as required. the taxiway guidance signages shall be as per ICAO and conforming to technical specifications. ( legends shall be as approved by Engineer-in -charge).
