Providing Modular Rubber Speed Breakers at Wallkers Road (Walkers park Junction ) in 9th division in RMC.

Providing and fixing Heavy Duty Modular Rubber Speed Breakers manufactured from high-strength, weather-resistant and durable rubber material conforming to relevant traffic safety standards and ISO quality certifications, having approximate weight of 24-25 Kg per running metre, of size 500mm x 250mm x 75mm, designed for effective vehicular speed control and capable of withstanding dynamic loads up to 50 tonnes suitable for both light and heavy vehicular traffic. The speed breaker shall consist of modular interlocking segments with anti-skid surface finish and coated with alternating yellow and black UV-resistant reflective stripes for enhanced visibility during day and night and under all weather conditions. The item shall include supply, transportation, laying, alignment, drilling of pavement wherever required, and firmly fixing to the road surface using heavy-duty anchor fasteners, nuts, bolts, washers, epoxy adhesive and all other incidental materials required for proper installation complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & Fixing of Twin Moulded Shanks Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97-DO III Dt11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13. Sqem on each side andthe slope to the base shall be 35+/-5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/-2 mm andheight not less than 30+/-2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of700 Kgs. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the twin shanks togo inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.
