M&L Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping to make free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam with minimum binder 4% (VG-30) well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg/10Sqm binded with 0.09cum of stone chipping of 6.3mm size and well rammed (including supply of premix maccadam , binder and chipping) depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L Premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness) with 75mm thick with 4% binder content ( paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix laid and rolled with 8-10 tonne Power Roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For 1.00 & 2.00 (i) Job mix formula for the Premix bituminous macadam shall be obtained from the institutes specified in the particular specifications. (ii) In case, as per actual design mix, the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 4 %, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If total binder content as per design mix is more than 4 %, no price adjustment shall be made for the same

M&L Preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate 10kg/10 sqm complete all as specified and directed

M&L Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5 % paving bitumen (VG-30) as binder content by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and mechanical paver a approved by GE, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne Vibrator Power Roller to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Job mix formula for the semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be got tested from the institutes specified in the particular specifications. (ii) Mix shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver. (iii) In case as per actual design mix, the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 5.5%, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If total binder content as per design mix is more than 5.5%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same complete all as specified and directed

M & L Preparation of old painted stone, bricks, concrete / plaster surfaces over 10 cm girth or width and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified .

M&L 2.0 to 2.5mm thick painting line , stop line dashes arrows, letters brackets and similar work on bituminous/ concrete pavement / path surfaces as per IRC pattern with thermoplastic road marking point of approved quality white /golden / yellow as approved colour shade and make conforming to BIS: 3262-1989 with special applicator machine not exceeding 10cm wide complete all as per manufactures instructions any as approved by GE Note : The rate included for provision of red signals to keep traffic from wet paint , cleaning road surfaces and working during odd hours when traffic is light
