M&L for dismantling the cable connections of four pole/ three pole Air circuit breaker of capacity 630 to 1000 Amps ,415 V 50 HZ of L&T Make/C&S/GE/ABB make, strip opening the Air circuit breaker, inspecting the parts for serviceability/overhauling complete and carrying out the following repairs/maintenance :-

a) Cleaning the insulation parts including bushings with CTC solution.

b) Checking the alignment and condition of movable and fixed contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer's instructional manual

c) Check the bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tights. Replace the wornout parts.

d) Check arc chutes for damage and replace damaged parts.

e) Clean and lubricate the operating mechanism with a light machine oil (SAE-20 or 30) for pins and bearings and with a non-hardening grease for the wearing surfaces . Adjust breaker operating mechanism all as per manufacturer's instructional manual . Replace if there is excessive wear and tear.

f) Checking / inspecting shunt trip coil for serviceability and replacing the same if required.

g) Replacing the badly worn or burned contacts. Checking control device free for operation.

h) Check after servicing the circuit breaker to verify the contacts move to the fully opened and fully closed positions, that there is an absence of friction and that the electrical operation is functional

Note : The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P and minor spares like lubricants, nuts/bolts/washers/ pins etc

M&L for maintenance/servicing of PT unit 11Kv / 110V by disconnecting and taking out from panel mounted position, checking & cleaning of fixed and moving contact points, cleaning/ decarbonising of bus bar connections, resin cast PTs using hot blower, CTC solution, applying backlot (Red) solution to the epoxy PT body, tightening of all nuts, bolts, washers, and refixing the same PT to original position, testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down HT switch gear (Vacuum circuit breaker ) of capacity 11 KV 250/350 MVA comprising of following repairs, overhauling, servicing, carrying out preventive maintenance and refixing the same after repairs/ overhauling:

(a) Tripping off the breaker, lowering the breaker with raising/lowering handle and pulling out the breaker complete from the panel along with the trolley for servicing/inspection/overhauling

(b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of automatic safety shutter operation for serviceability and replacement of spares if required.

(b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of circuit spout and circuit spout connections for RYB phases and replacement of spares if required.

(c) Dismantling and checking of cross bar assembly, fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker, trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, epoxy spout, isolator assembly etc.

(d) Setting, reassembling, cleaning, adjustment of fixed contacts, main contact, arcing contacts and chamber baffle pot assembly, moving contact for proper setting of auxiliary contacts operating mechanism.

(e) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of secondary sockets/bus bar earthing plugs/earthing sockets and replacement of spares if required.

(f) Checking, setting and adjustment of lowering and raising operation of the breaker trolley.

(g) Decarbonising of bus bar and connected items

(h) Lubrication and greasing of all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear, isolation resistance of trolley of with vacuum interrupter assembly.

(J) The inspection of HT switch gear shall involve:- (i) Inspection of truck & hoist assembly. (ii) Inspection of tank assembly & barriers. (iii) Inspection of assembly & components of solenoid assembly. (iv) Inspection of assembly & components of dependent mechanism. (v) Inspection of assembly & components of spring box mechanism. (vi) Inspection of motor mechanism spring charge assembly (vii) Inspection of assembly of trip unit & related components

Notes: (i)The servicing includes for bus bar duct chamber, cable alleys and connecting accessories (ii) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, painting of VCB panels with approved colour including lettering details all as per existing etc. to put in to the VCBs and panels in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Major spares like Breaker bushings, vacuum interrupter assly, bus bar spout, bus bar spout connections, circuit spout/circuit spout connections/buffer fixed contacts, moving contacts, tank assly/barriers, solenoid spares, dependent/spring mechanism/ motor mechanism, trip unit etc. will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A'. However the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any other minor spares require replacement. (iv) the servicing shall be carried out by Authorised service centre as approved by GE

M&L for rectification of faults and retrofit of electrical circuit of 11 KV VCB with suitable IED's by checking CT/PT healthiness , proper programming of multifunctional meters and replacement of defective components & wiring with FRLSH multistrand PVC insulated copper conductor 1100 volts grade as per existing size of wire complete all as specified and directed Note :- Required new components will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.
