Raising, Replacement of Transformer Housing Boxes due to Runway Resurfacing Work.

Fabrication & supply of 330mmx330mm size MS collar of suitable height as per site requirement (for increasing the height of the existing isolating transformer housing box) made out of 6mm thick MS sheet on four sides, 10mm thick MS sheet on top & bottom, with a provision of 65mm dia pipe entry hole on four sides, 225mm dia round opening on top & bottom with six nos holes on edges of top & bottom plates, suitable for holding the 300mm dia round cover plates on top and bottom bolted to the existing box including painting the collar with one coat of primer & two coats of black enamel paint etc. complete as required & as per enclosed specifications and drawing.

Fabrication & supply of 750mmx330mm size MS collar of suitable height as per site requirement (for increasing the height of the existing isolating transformer housing box) made out of 6mm thick MS sheet on four sides, 10mm thick MS sheet on top & bottom, with a provision of 65mm dia pipe entry hole on three sides, 648mmx228mm size rectangular opening on bottom and two nos. 225mm dia round opening on top with twelve nos holes on edges of bottom plate and six nos holes on edges of each round opening on top plate , suitable for holding the round cover plates each of dia 300 mm on top and bottom bolted to the existing box including painting the collar with one coat of primer & two coats of black enamel paint etc. complete as required & as per enclosed specifications and drawing.

Placing & Positioning of MS collar (supplied against item no.1 & 2) by necessary soil excavation (by mechanical/manual means) for unearthing of housing boxes buried under murram/soil & necessary refilling including minor civil works as per site requirement, making pedestal of 0.30mt all around the box by making suitable slope by providing 1:2:4 cement concrete of 100mm thick, after necessary brick pitching all around the collar (excluding supply & fixing of suitable SS bolts) complete as required & as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Placing & Positioning of MS collar (supplied against item no. 3) by necessary soil excavation ( by mechanical/manual means ) for unearthing of housing boxes buried under murram/soil & necessary refilling including minor civil works as per site requirement, making pedestal of 0.30mt all around the box by making suitable slope by providing 1:2:4 cement concrete of 100mm thick, after necessary brick pitching all around the collar (excluding supply & fixing of suitable SS bolts) complete as required & as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Fabrication & Supply of MS housing box of size 750 mm (L) x 330 mm (W) x 400 mm (H) made out of 6 mm thick MS sheet on four sides,10 mm thick MS sheet on bottom, 12.5 mm thick MS sheet on top, with a provision of 65 mm dia pipe entry hole on four sides, two nos. 225mm dia round openings on top with six nos threaded holes on edges of each round opening for fixing top plates; horizontal 50x50x6mm MS T-beam inside the box at the middle, parallel to the 330 mm side and welded to the longitudinal 750 mm side and to the the top plate for providing mechanical strength; 15mm dia, 100mm long B class GI pipe with socket welded at bottom for drain, 2nos. SS earth bolts of M10 welded inside, painting of box with one coat of primer & two coats of black enamel paint etc. complete as required and as per enclosed specifications.

Dismantling of existing Transformer Housing Boxes by necessary soil excavation and refilling etc., cleaning the box of concrete & mud and stacking in AAI Store etc as required.

Installation of MS housing box of size 750 mm (L) x 330 mm (W) x 400 mm (H) (Supplied vide item no.6 above) in soil by necessary soil excavation, connecting existing pipes along with existing cables at the pipe entry holes and providing brick soling (size 950mm x 530mm) at the bottom & using cement concrete of ratio 1:2:4 all around & bottom of the box of 100 mm thick and making pedestal of 300mm & 100mm thick all around the box over brick soling by making suitable slope i/c centering & shuttering etc. as required and as per enclosed specifications.

Supply and fixing of suitable size SS bolt, washer etc as required during collar installation (item no.4 ) and during housing box installation (item no.8) i/c removing of existing broken bolt, from the transformer housing boxes as per site requirement, by providing necessary T&P such as Tapping & drilling machine etc. as required.

Providing cover plates of size 300mm dia fabricated from 10mm thick MS plate, suitable for Isolating transformer housing boxes i/c making 6nos holes on the edges, drilling, tapping, finishing, i/c pencil grinding (bevelling) of outer edge to get a 'C' shaped finished surface and carrying the same to site and placing them properly over round opening of collars, housing boxes etc. i/c painting etc. as required and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Frangible Wind Direction Indicator conforming to ICAO Annex 14, suitable for operation on 230V, 50 Hz single phase AC supply and properly illuminated by LED Lights in 360° wind direction alongwith obstruction light on top of assembly and consisting of other accessories like Wind Sock assembly (including one spare wind sock) complete with slip rings, drum, bracket for drum, bearing, carbon brush with holder etc and providing and laying suitable reinforced cement concrete foundation for installation as per OEM recommendations and directions of Engineer-in- Charge.

Dismantling of existing Wind Direction Indicator from its foundation and stacking in AAI Store etc as required.
