Opening of tower manholes (24” NB x 150 # rating) adjacent to platforms, located at different elevations of DU towers 4105 T-1 and 4105 T-2 and boxing up of the manhole covers after completion of tower internal cleaning, inspection & or replacement of trays etc. by torquing of studs of the flange cover after cleaning & lapping of flange faces, cleaning of fasteners, replacement of gaskets etc.

Opening of manways, complete sieve tray inspection and marking of segments, dismantling, removal, mechanical cleaning and refixing / replacing sieve trays, internal components including down comers by entering inside the towers 4105 T-1 and 4105 T-2 through manholes and marking and dismantling different segments of the trays made of steel plates. Lifting, proper material handling arrangement (rope pulley, winch and pulley) shall be made to bring the internal components of sieve trays from the tower to designated area on ground floor through manhole for cleaning and inspection purpose. Cleaning & removal of any deposit, scaling, corrosion products etc. from each tray shall be carried out as per instruction of HWPK Engineer and details to be recorded. The sieve trays shall be shifted back to the original location after inspection, cleaning and repair if any and fixed back, torque values for fasteners of tray components and down comer clearance to be checked & if required to be adjusted as per the requirement. Manways shall be fixed back and torqued after completion of the job.
