PART - A Dismantling all type of masonary excepting cement concreate plane or reinforces, staking sevisable material at site and removaing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 mm.a) In ground floor including roof

Stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, celings etc. upto any height and in any floor including removing rubbish within a lead of 75m as directed.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation

Single brick flat soiling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with powdered earth or local sand.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.a) Pakur Variety

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity).

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. a) Pakur Variety

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups,binders etc. initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape,placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every inter-section, complete as per drawing and direction. (a) For works in foundation, basement and upto roof of ground floor / upto 4m. (i) Tor steel/Mild Steel I. SAIL/TATA/RINL

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor). 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation.

125mm thick brickwork with 1st class in cement mortar(1:4) in ground floor.

Brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) (i) In foundation and plinth

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] floor. Artificial stone in floor, dado, staircase etc with cement concrete (1:2:4 with stone chips, laid in panels as directed with topping made with ordinary or white cement (as necessary) and marble dust in proportion (1:2) including smooth finishing and rounding off corners including raking out joints or roughening of concrete surface and application of cement slurry before flooring works using cement @ 1.75 kg/sq.m all complete including all materials and labour. In ground floor. 3 mm. thick topping (High polishing grinding on this item is not permitted with ordinary cement).Using grey cement. (ii) 25 mm. thick Sq. M

Extra transportatation charges for carriage of of construction materials of repairing and maintenance of pipe line (except departmentaly supplied materials earth cutting and earth filling @ 4% on all actual executed item by cart/ boat/ head load with proper approval of EIC (Except item No. ( 1,2, 3 & 4)

PART - B Earth work in excavation of field trenches as per designed section & alignment for laying of pipe lines (PVC, RCC, ACP etc) up to a depth of 1500 mm in all sorts of soils including removing, spreading or stacking extra earth as directed. The item includes necessary trimming of sides trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom as required complete.

Earth work in filling in trenches after laying pipe lines (PVC, RCC, ACP etc) with good earth obtained from excavation of field trenches in layers not exceeding 225 mm, including watering & ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment will be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work.).

Repair of puncture/holes of any size in existing P.V.C. Pipeline of HDTW/MDTW/RLI by placing half round P.V.C. Pipe section of required size to cover the holes/ puncture having adequate bearing on all sides and joining the half round section with solvent cement after roughening the surface with wire brush, emery paper to make the joint leak proof as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (cost inclusive of supplying solvent cement at site and transportation of required length of P.V.C. Pipe to be issued departmentlly, for cutting half round section, from Sub- Divisional Stores to site) 200 mm dia. P.V.C. Pipe line

Laying of P.V.C.pipes of different diameters within field trenches in curve/straight line using P.V.C.fittings ,viz. Bend,Tee, Reducer etc.and making leak-proof joints with coupler safter roughening the surface with wire brush and emery paper and apply ing solvent cement (The rate isinclusive of transport of pipes,fittings and solvent cement to be supplied by Deptt.)all complete asper direction of Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) 200 mm dia

Repairing of T.P./N.T.P./Alfa Alfa Valve with required wedge,spindle,top cover plate etc.(to be supplied departmentally)including machining,boring and painting etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. 150 mm nominal size

Repairing of Sluice Valve with required wedge,spindle,catcher,top cover plate etc.(to be supplied departmentally)including fitting fixing asper direction of Engineer-in-Charge.150 mm nominal size

Supplying, fitting and fixing including transportation of sign board for identifying the exact location of MAJOR RLI scheme (one at road side and other at site) the board will be made 3 mm thick MS plate of size 300 mm x 600 mm and fitted and fixed on 50 mm GI Pipe of IS 1239/90 (part-1) including cutting, welding and writting of both sides of Sign board. Base- Yellow, and words- Red. Both bottom end of the stands pipe will be grouted in 1:2:4 CC on a single brick flat soling. This will include one materials and labour complete as per drawing and direction of E.I.C.

Carriage of Departmental materials from the Deparmental Store to the work site and return back the damaged/replaced and unused materials to store including loading & unloading complete at both sides by Tempo/Van Rikshaw/Mini Truck etc. upto 25 Km distance in one way.

Testing of pipe line system against leakages by filling the distribution chamber with water and supplying water through the entire pipe line net work for at least 4 (four) hour by running the departmental Deasel Engine pumping set, including supplying necessary fuels & lubricants and hiring and transporting tools and plants all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Major RLI.

25mm. thick damp proof course with cement concrete with stone chips (1:1.5:3) [with graded stone aggregate 10 mm nominal size] and admixture of water proofing compound as per manufacturer's specification followed by two coat of polymer based paint, (1st coat after 4 to 5 days of concrete laying and 2 nd coat just before brick masonry work) as directed (cost of water proofing compound & polymer based paint to be paid separately).( Chequering not required over concrete or painted surface). [Note: - Waterproofing as per item 9, polymer based paint as per item 8 (a) of subhead C of Section (C).

Dia.

Supplying fitting approved type ventilator in position after cutting holes in walls setting in cement mortar mending damages to wall and plaster and two coats of paint of approved brand of any shade. Payment of mending good damages of wall & plaster and painting to be made separately.R.C.C ventilator of 20 mm. thick upto 0.10 sq.m. area.

M.S. gate of Jail type as per approved design made of strong M.S. frame work, intermediate stiffeners and round / square bars or angles. M.S. sheet (not less than 14 gauge) gussets, cleats etc. including necessary riveting, bolting, welding, locking and hanging arrangements, fitting and fixing complete as per direction of the Engineer-in -charge. In ground floor.

M.S.or W.I. Ornamental grill of approved design joints continuously welded with M.S, W.I. Flats and bars of windows, railing etc. fitted and fixed with necessary screws and lugs in ground floor.Grill weighing above 16 Kg./sq.mtr and above.

Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.
