REPAIR TO ROAD AND PATH IN RAMPUR, BONIYAR, MOHURA, BANDI AND URI UNDER GE 969 EWS

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path, etc cutting around edges at least 30mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with bitumen of grade VG 10 @5 Kgs/ 10 Sqm putting in premix as specified for the bituminous in premix as specified for the bituminous carpet (2cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 Kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand) again well rammed (including supply of premixed binder and sand) depth of potholes nexc 30 mm rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG10 @ 5 Kg/ 10 Sqm on existing black top for below bituminous macadam surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam consolidated thickness, 75mm or less using 4% binder i.e. paving bitumen grade VG 30 by weight of total mix and aggregate mixed in computerized hot mix plant laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with the help of mechanical paver and power rolled 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for bituminious premix semi dense alphaltic concrete 40mm (consolidated thickness) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5,5% binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in computerised Hot Mix Plant and spread by means of Self Propelled Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted to required cabmer and gradient by using mechanical power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity incl applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminious primer using paving bitumen of grade VG 10 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm on existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note for ser No 4 & 5 (i) Preparation of mix in hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable. (ii) Central computerised Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed. (iii) Over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadam & nο separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessitated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately. (iv) The Design mix shall be carried out from the Zonal lab/ Govt approved lab/Govt Engr College as approved by GE and design mix shall be got approved by GE before execution of the work. (v) The cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
