1. The Contractor Submitting the Tender shall see that the rate in Schedule – A are filled in by the

Engineer in Charge at the time of issue tender.

2. The Contractor while submitting the tender shall provide his own arrangement at his own cost for

loading, unloading and transporting safety to the site of work the cement stipulated in Schedule -A

3) Binding wire of 15 gauge of thinner gauge required for placing the reinforcement in position shall

be provided at his own cost.

4) All the materials required for the items other than labour in Schedule-A but available with the dept.

will be issued on request to the contractor (for use in this contract only) at prevailing market rates

or departmental issue rates whichever is higher.

5) All the surplus materials supplied by the department. As mentioned in schedule-A should be

handed over to the Department by the contractor at the Govt stores as directed.

6) The materials mentioned in schedule-A shall have to be checked for their correctness and

Soundnessby the contractor before taking the delivery of the materials from the Government

7) Necessary cement will be purchased by the agency at their own cost from open market.

8) The persons of firm submitting the Tender should see that rates in the above schedule are filled up

by the Executive Engineer, on the issue of form prior to the submission of the Tender.

9) Carting of above materials should be done by contractor at his own cost

10) Contractor should return the balance materials in good and acceptable condition, otherwise

recovery at the double rates will be affected in view of Clause

 Rates to be quoted exclusive of GST.

 Part A is payable on monthly basis whereas part B & C are subject to completion of

activities and approval of the measurement.

 Water supply of target quantity of water to all habitations (village, towns and

hamlets) on adaily basis. If due to breakdown, agency is not capable of supplying

water then such quantity should be supplied the next day to cope up with the

shortage. Such that the water supplied the next day will be 2 times the regular per

 Contractor should quote rate in words & figure both.

 Insurance Policy should be procured in favour of Executive Engineer, PH Works

Division, Ahwa, and contractor has to produce it before entering into agreement with

department, for the full period of O&M.

 The bidders should strictly note that rate will be fixed and firm. No escalation will be

given during the maintenance period.

 The work should be carried out as per the terms and conditions laid down in the

tender specification.

 The cost of raw water, electricity will be borne by GWSSB.

 GWSSB will supply necessary stock of Chlorine gas, PAC & bleaching powder. All

other Required material for O&M work shall be brought by the contractor at his own

cost including loading, unloading and carting and the same material shall get

approval from the Engineer-in-charge before use in the work.

 The cost is including all type of taxes (other than GST), octroi, freight, loading,

unloading, carting labour charges payment to labour including insurance, P.F. and

all other liabilities for the staff engaged for the O&M work.

 All replaced material (provided from the department’s store) shall be returned to

department store by the contractor at his own cost.

 Painting of overall structures: Internal/external painting of civil structures,

machineries, manifolds, valves etc.

Interior Paint: Distemper paint to all civil assets

Exterior paint: shall be acrylic emulsion paint colour (like APEX): pump house,

treatment plants, treated water pumping stations, GSRs, ESRs, sump, stores, etc all.

Oil paint colour: All type of doors, windows, ventilation, shutter, pump, motor, all

valves & equipment inside pump house, transformer yard, D.P. structure,

transformer etc

Black Japan colour: air valve, sluice valve, riser pipe of air valve, zero velocity valve,

butterfly valve (outdoor), bypass arrangement etc.

 This Rate to be quoted by the contractor must be exclusive of GST but inclusive of all other

taxes. GST should be paid extra on the admissible payment as per the approved tender

rates and condition of price variation : GST should be paid as per prevailing rates at the time
