82680/E8 PROVISION OF DG SUPPLY FOR SAC COMN FLT, KKNP BLDG AND BUILDING NO P-83 AT 17 FBSU AIR FORCE STATION.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning Auto Mains Failure Silent type Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts 58.5 KVA, CPCB IV+, 3 -phase 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self excited self regulated brushless AC generator installed including acoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition at Trivandrum and conforming to condition under IS 10000 series, IS 13018 with the following specifications:- Note:- (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant IS/BS Standards design. (ii). The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of oil and final successful acceptance test. (iii) All testing arrangements/ equipment's shall be made available by the contractor at own cost.

(A). Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 58.5 KVA/ nearest higher available capacity at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self excited self regulated screen protected drip proof brushless design with winding in pole faces impregnation on all wound components for better mechanical strength, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to IS: 4722/ IS 13364 standards and shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation with in + 1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally conform to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722. i) Insulation class - 'H' ii) Temperature rise Class - 'H' iii) Excitation : Self Excited iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with + 1%, manual voltage adjustment within + 5% . v) Frequency regulation + 1%.

(B) Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity of Diesel engine as accepted by the accepting officer based on manufacturers technical details liquid cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through the holset type coupling multi cylinder four stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant IS/BS complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:-

i) Fly wheel with housing ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts. iii) Cooling Water/liquid pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven. iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust expansion bellow and exhaust piping of suitable dia with MS pipe medium grade upto & outside the building, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of 28 SWG complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall/enclosure. Turbo charger type, Exhaust manifold . Silencer : Residential type

v) Fuel System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch controlled by governor electronic operated for 1% speed /frequency regulation. Dual fuel filter system pre filter including water separator and Water in Fuel (WIF) sensor and main filter. Fuel hoses. vi) Lub oil System :- Lubricating oil filter, Lubricating oil pump vii) Air Intake System :- Air intake Manifold , Air cleaner dry type, Governor electronic viii) Starting System :- Electric Self starter with and including battery charging alternator. ix) Batteries :- Batteries of maintenance free of suitable capacity as per OEM complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battery terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified and : Starter gear ring, Start and stop push button, Ignition key / Switch. Handling and operation : Salient features of accessories shall be as under: Radiator with blower fan, Corrosion inhibitor coolant, Paper element filters for fuel, lub oil and by pass.

(C) AMF Panel :- Factory made indoor type control cubical made out of 2mm thick CRCA sheet dust and vermin proof totally enclosed with front and rear opening of 415 volts 3 -phase 4 - wire AC 50 Hz, including suitable powder coated both internally and externally, copper bus bar TPN for 58.5 KVA alternator complete with internal wiring with PVC insulated single core copper conductor multistranded wire of 1100 volts grade of suitable capacity, fuses, name plates consisting of 4 pole MCCBs 160 Amps, 25 KA adjustable type - 02 Nos and Contactors of capacity 160 Amps AC 3 , 415 Volts heavy duty TPN, Air break type. Detachable cable gland plates, all controls, indicators and standard fitting shall be as follows:-

Micro processor based multifunction meter for mounting metering and control system with LCD display of voltage, current, kWh,kVA power factor measurement. Annunciation with indication lamps for :- (i) Low lub oil pressure. (ii) High Water Temperature.(iii) Engine over speed.(iv) Battery low voltage. (v) Over voltage, under voltage and over current (vi) multifunction meter Controls :-a) Load on Indication b) Load off indication c) Engine start push button d) Engine stop push button e) Fault accept / reset push button f) Battery Charger shall be provided as per manufacturer guidelines

(D) Civil Works :- All civil works including PCC plat form and related to foundations including of panel and equipment's including making good and existing structure of disturbed during installation and commissioning of genset. The depth of the foundation and PCC shall be as recommended by the manufacturer. (E) Rubber Matting of LV grade 19mm thick of suitable size chequered type ISI marked to be laid in front of control panel should be provided. Note:- The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer. (F) Acoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 58.5 KVA DG Set. (G) Noise level :- 75DB at 1 meter from the enclosure surface under free field conditions as per CPCB Norms.

(i) NAL approved as per CPCB (ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (iii) The generating set batteries and control panel should be inside the enclosure tank capacity for 8 hours continuous run. (iv) Fuel tank should be in side the enclosure. (v) Construction Details/specification are as follows : - a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick. b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool/fire resistance foam (minimum density 64kg/Cum)/ as per standard manufacturing vi) The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit. vii) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable insulated plat form.

viii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. ix) The enclosure should be suitably illuminated by suitable capacity LED Lamp fittings. x) The noise level should be 75 dBA at 1m under free field conditions. xi) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre-treatment process. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. Note :- (i) The complete DG Set shall be procured from authorised OEM of the manufacturer of engine. A certificate in this connection shall be submitted to the GE. (ii) Any details missed out in above specification, but which are technically required for efficient working of DG Set shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates.
