Replacement of Faulty Pipe Lines of Fire Hydrant and HSD System at Tirupati Airport

Cat (A) -Items to be supply and installation

Sub Head - I : Fire Hydrant System

Providing laying, testing & commissioning of 'C' class heavy duty MS Pipe conforming to IS 1239/3589 i/c fittings like elbows, tees, flanges, tapers, nuts bolts, gaskets etc. in ground including welding, excavation & providing cement concrete blocks as supports,anticorrosive treatment with coaltar/asphalt tape as per IS 10221, refilling the trench etc. of following sizes complete as required.

Connection of new hydrant pipe line to existing pipe line in 'T"- formation, including activities like excavation, draining the pipe line, anticorrosive treatment with coaltar/asphalt tape as per IS 10221, refilling the trench etc., complete as required.

Making permanent blocking of existing 100 mm dia MS Pipe line by cutting the line closing with suitable dummy plate i/c necessary welding work and i/c excavation of existing soil, complete the work, refilling the excavated soil making it good complete as required.

Sub Head - II : High Speed Diesel (HSD) Supply System

Supply,Erection and Laying , tesing and commissioning of M.S. heavy class ERW piping (Class-C) conforming to IS : l239 with necessary clamps, supports, anti vibration mountings, hangers and fittings such as bends, tees, reducers etc. painted as per specifications :

Supply, fixing and testing of following valves, strainers, in the H.S.D. Fuel Handling System piping complete with companion flanges, nut bolts, kets, supports and painted etc. as per specifications:

Dismantling of existing damaged MS 'C' class pipe lines and valves of various sizes in the HSD system and handed over to AAI stores .

Sub Head - III : MISC. ITEMS

Excavation for cable trenches of depth upto 1.2 m in soft soil including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 metres.

Excavation of hard rock/floor/bitumen road/concrete pavement not exceeding 0.5 metres in width, and lift upto 1.5 metres, including getting out the excavated soil, refilling of soil and disposal of excess excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 metres.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1cement : 2 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)etc including form work as required.

Supply, fabrication and installation of the MS channel/ angle/ flat/sheet for horizontal & vertical supports for fire hydrant/ HSD system including cutting, welding, drilling, fixing, grinding, applying redoxide of two coats, painting the same with approved colour shade paint etc., complete as required.

Construction of brick masonry trench (below the existing Ground level) of inside dimensions of 300mm(B) x 600mm(D) for housing 2 Runs of 40mm dia pipes consisting of following: a) PCC 1: 2: 4 of 100mm thick on top of PCC 1: 5 :10. b) Brick work with first class clay bricks 230mm thick using cement mortar 1:4. Inside & exposed brick work plastering using CM 1:6. c) Removable top cover slab of 100 mm thick and suitable size to be provided.

Credit for dismantled materials under Sub head-II, approx. weight of 100Kgs.
