REPAIRS OF DISTRIBUTION /RAISING MAINS INCLUDING CLEANING OF OH AND UG RESERVOIRS

Cleaning of water reservoir tanks of capacity as mentioned by mechanised system at various places of Military Stn Kota as described under :- Stage-I : Mechanised dewatering should be done by submersible dewatering pump having suitable outlet discharge and control panel without any trouble. Stage-II : Desilting and removal of left over dirty water sludge with sludge removal pump. Proper sludge pump and wash out pipes should be used. Water jet with the help of equipment which creats a pressure of 100-150 bar : Cleaning should be done by high pressure cleaner, fully automatic control auto start – stop, imported high pressure cleaning machine having F-class insulation protection. The heavy duty machine should be operated by HPC pressure of 10-150 bar. Stage III : The machine should have imported twin steel core protection rubber high pressure hose to safely withstand operating pressure of 250 bar and two cleaning lances. One with rotary jet and second one a flat jet for effective drinking water. Stage-IV : Removal of remaining sludge from the flor with the help of industrial vacuum cleaner : (a) Removal of remaining sludge with the help of imported heavy duty industrial vacuum, cleaner and sludge sucker having max power of 1200 watt with suitable heavy duty rugged motor.

Item 01.00 Contd...... (b) Imported sludge sucker should be a part of the high pressure system which sucks and throws the same out of the tank this must handle solid partials as well. Stage-V : Spray of non toxic, biodegradable, ECO friendly, anti bacterial, agent certified by Govt, approved laboratory to disinfect the tank from all harmful pathogens, the doser utilized should be safe as per the DECD gudline 423 adopted 7th December 2001. Note: (i) All safety gadgets like safety belts, special safety belts, special safety ladders, helmets, heavy duty gum boots, electric safety gloves and special working gloves, saftety masks, aprons etc. for complete security and operation shall be used by well trained workers to be deployed under this contract. (ii) Certificate for non toxicity of anti bacterial agent as per the DECD guide line 423 adopted on 7th December 2001 need to be submitted by the contractor. (iii) Electricity required for cleaning purpose will be provided by the Deptt free of cost.

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and commisioning XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 1100 Volt grade of cross-sectional area 35 Sqmm, 3.5 core, laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole/wall and including taking out old u/s cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying pulverized fuel Ash-lime bricks (Fly ash bricks - non modular size), laid flat adjoining each other as in protection to UG cables, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in renewal of aviation obstruction light with all accessories, fixed on top of OH tanks with and including lamps of capacity 2x100 W complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in renewal of new generation energy saving & environmental friendly long life versatile pressure die-cast aluminium IP-66 roadway luminaire with high power LED as light source and electronic driver of capacity 70 Watt complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in renewal of terminal box made of PVC Box of size 200x160x98mm, fix on pole by means of mild steel clamps with bolt and nuts, provn for cable entry for incoming and outgoing & including 01 No. MCB 6 Amps and one No. 4 way connector, making necessary connections, duly fixed with and including cable glands threaded type IP66/67 made of polyamide with lock nut, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old water level indicator of any type and Supplying, installation and testing of digital water level indicator device, operating on single phase supply, direct display in 150 mm size digit display system which must show water in meter/centimeter or gallon of water level of Sumps/OH tanks ensuring alarm while water fall or rise at predetermined limit 1 minute auto off alarm. The entire unit shall operate through and including a compact electronic circuit which must ensure reliable operation at 230 volts + 5% with digit display and alarm at high/low level of sumps/OH tanks. The circuit shall be housed in MS CRC sheet box with nylon moulded connection strips. The level system shall be corrosion proof from water and other substances available in water. The system shall be controlled through a micro switch and should not be a sensor based system. The whole unit shall be electronically controlled and the upper level and lower level indicator must be highly sensitive to micro switch. The complete unit must be in two parts. Each complete part must be fitted in MS CRC sheet box separately duly powder coated. One must be installed at sumps/over head tank and second at pump house. Required flexible copper control cable of 1.50 Sqmm, 3 core shall be provided from Sumps/Overhead tanks to pump house to be provided for connection to both units duly protected in GI pipe of medium grade 25mm bore. Note :- GI conduit for protection of copper cable approx 30 mtrs shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep for foundation etc or for shafts, column footings or for laying cables/pipes etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to distance not exc 50 Mtr and deposting where directed at a level not exc 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up cast/ductile iron water main (including all fittings), with spigot and socketed ends jointed with run lead joints including burning out lead of joints and collecting run lead for re-use, cleaning serviceable pipe internally/externally for re-use, stacking properly in safe custody in storeyard of AGE E/M and removing unserviceable pipe from site complete all as specified and directed for following bore pipes:- 150 mm bore

M&L for cleaning of surrounding area of pump house by surface dressing upto 10 cm average depth & including removing shrubs, grass, implants, small bushes, branches of tree and other unwanted materials/stones etc and spray of herbicide chemical on grass at all around area of pump house & including leveling, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The cost of hebricide chemical for grass, petrol & T & P for cutting of grass deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) In case of failure noticed more than 07 Day recovery shall be effected @ Rs.250/- per Day beyond 07 Days.

REPAIR/MAINT OF STP

M&L for Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc. all tanks and compressed air pipe network by mechanical or manual means shall be carried out with water and chemical as applicable and dates of cleaning shall be marked on tank including disposal of deposited sludge in drying beds etc. complete all as specified and directed of following tanks:-. 1. Equalisation Tank-01 nos, 2. Fine Screen Chamber, MBBR Tanks- 2 Nos 3. Tube Settler tank includes cleaning of tube settler media-01 Nos 4. Chlorine Contact Tank-01 Nos 5. Filter Feed tank- 01 Nos, 6. Sludge Holding Tank-01 Nos etc

Attending complaints of STP by qualified mechanic to confirm the satisfactory running of centrifugal pump motors, blowers, sewage pumps, centrifuge pump etc. complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The cost of minor spares such as nut, bolts, washer, grease, servicing of pumps, supply & fixing of glands of suitable size, checking and repairing of electrical connections etc are deemed to included in rate quoted by contractor. (ii) The complaints intimate to contractor and the contractor shall be rectified complaints within 24 hours, in case of failure noticed more than 24 hrs recovery shall be effected @ Rs.500/- per hour beyond 24 hrs.

M & L for spray painting of compressed air delivery pipe line nework of existing size, multimedia and carbon filter plants (04 Nos) including connecting pipe line of existing size with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including a coat of primer after complete removal of existing treatment from the pipe line & including writing name/capacity, making arrows etc with white synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of surrounding area of sewage treatment plant complete upto fencing level and one meter outside of the fencing by surface excavation upto 10 CM average depth including removing shrubs, grass, implant, small bushes, branches of tree and other unwanted materials / stones etc and levelling complete for every months of contract etc. including spray of herbicide chemical on grass at all round area of STP, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) The cost of herbicide chemical for grass, petrol to run grass cutting machine and other T&P for cutting of grass/branches of tree deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) In case of failure noticed more than 07 days, recovery shall be effected @ Rs. 500/- per day beyond 07 Days.

Supply and Fix in renewal of, cast iron double flanged long type, lever operated, butterfly valve size 150 mm, PN 2.0, ISI Marked (IS-13095:1991, Reaffirmed 2003), including provision of carbon steel nuts, bolts & washers, rubber gaskets fixed to water mains, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installed, connecting and testing of sluice valve 150 mm dia, class PN 1.6 double flanged with CI body wheel and stainless steel spindle non rising type, IS-14846 ISI marked including jointing materials such as rubber gasket, nut, bolt and washer including taking down old unserviceable sluice valve etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installed, connecting and testing, Non return valve cast iron flanged both end connecting in line with nut bolts, rubber packing etc as per existing type including taking down old unserviceable Non return valve etc. complete all as specified and directed of the following sizes :-

S & F in renewal of protection circuit breaker for motor MCCB, 04 pole, 250 Amps, confirming to IS/ IEC 60947-2 & IEC 60947-2 thermal magnetic release with and adjustable over load setting 08-1.0 x in and adjustable short circuit setting 6-10 x in and rupturing capacity 25 KA at 415 V, AC, 50 Hz, Ics=100%Icu, Conforms to IS/IEC 60947-2 including spreader terminals suitable for motors etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in renewal of new generation energy saving & environmental friendly long life versatile pressure die- cast aluminium IP 66 roadway luminaire with high power LED as light source and electronic driver of capacity 60 Watt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in renewal of PVC insulated, PVC sheathed 3 core 1100 volts grade, 2.5 sqmm aluminium stranded conductor as per IS 694 for providing street light connection etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L carrying out the Tests of treated water from NABL approved lab and maintain the record of as per frequency :- (i) PH Valve (ii) TSS (iii) BOD (iv) COD (v) Oil & Grease Note :- In case of failure noticed more than 1 Month, recovery shall be effected @ Rs. 500/- per Hour beyond One Month.

Repair and maintenance of sludge cake making machine including replacement of bearings and belt of existing size, greasing to the shaft including making necessary alignment with motor rotor etc. complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The cost of minor spares such as nut, bolts, washer, grease, servicing of pumps, supply & fixing of glands of suitable size, checking and repairing of electrical connections etc are deemed to included in rate quoted by contractor.

Supply only Chlorine dioxide chemical (SCS-10K, CLO2)) required to achieve desired parameters of treated water and required spares for operation of the plant, at least one month requirement of the materials shall be kept at site at a time etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for coarse bar screen of equalization tank of bar size 1m x 0.75m and 5 mm thick MS flat minimum and clear spacing 6 mm of existing size etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fine bar screen in MS material of size 0.6 x 0.6m for MBBR 1 and MBBR-2 tanks etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling/taking down A/C vertical hollow shaft induction type, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, 10 to 15 HP Motor coupled with non clog vertical sewage pump set, taking out the burnt starter assembly, dismantling the components, accessories cutting the burnt winding, including re-winding the same with super enameled copper winding wire as per existing size/gauge varnishing and drying the same upto specific temperature of heat, tapping, providing necessary insulator, connecting including replacement of NDE/DE side bearings motor terminal plate assembling, commissioning and testing upto good working performance complete all directed. Note :- Parts/item replaced under this item shall be measured & paid for separately as supply only under appropriate items of BOQ.

Notes:- (i) The cost of minor spares such as nut, bolts, washer, grease, servicing of pumps, supply & fixing of glands of suitable size, checking and repairing of electrical connections etc are deemed to included in rate quoted by contractor.

Supply and fixin renewal of PVC/Polycarbonate made junction box having two incoming and one outgoing cable ways alongwith fixing arrangement complete including 01 Nos 6 Amp MCB SP for security light etc. complete all as specified and directed. Make : Hensel/HPL/Sintex or equivalent make as mentioned in Appx’B’.

M&L brick work with pulverized fuel Ash-lime bricks (Fly ash bricks - non modular size), straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in CM 1:4, including demolition of old u/s existing brick work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for distribution line diagrame board for STP installation of size not less than 2.5m x 1.2 m in different sizes displaying name of installation, prepared with suitable Auto Cad software and printed on flex board and duly fixed on acrylic sheet of 6mm thickness with aluminium beading of 2mm thick alround the frame, letters shall be in Arial font upto 100mm width as directed and in desired colours, including taking down/dismantling old u/s existing boards complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The cost of fixing the board on wall shall be included in quoted rate.

S & F in renewal of duty roster board with aluminium beading of 2mm thick all around the board for water supply installations having size not less than 1.0 m x 0.75m (L X W) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for standard pattern backlit sign board for STP installation in different size displaying name of installation, prepared with suitable Auto Cad software and printed on flex board and duly fixed on waterproof acrylic sheet of 6mm thickness with aluminium beading of 2mm thick all around the frame, letters shall be in Arial font upto 150mm width and symbols of motors, MES logo as directed and in desired colours, including taking down/dismantling old u/s existing sign boards complete all as specified and directed. Note :- MS frame for sign board, excavation, earth work & PCC in foundation etc shall be included in quoted rate.
