Cold room works

Supply of Condensing & evaporating units suitable for the walk in cold room consisting of freezer room for a storage capacity of 150 Kg of meat at temperature of –20 to –18 deg C and chiller room for a storage capacity of of 200 KG of vegetables at temp of +2 to +8 degree C. The condensing unit is made up of self supporting steel frame with hermetic compressor and air cooled compressor coil, fan motor, electrtical and microprocessor controls etc and complete mounted at suitable position including refrigerant piping and all connections as required of minimum 6 meters. The Housing of the evaporator unit is made up of high quality 304a stainless steel specially designed copper coil, filter, expansion device self lubricated axial fans and consist with all safety controls and power saving flow controls with automatic and electrical de frost controls.

Chiller room- 2m x 4m x 2.4m

The Supplier should provide a centralized pre wired electrical control panel for feeding electrical supply to the compressors having individual suitable rating contactor with overload and short circuit protection, single phasing preventer, LED indicators. The panel should have necessary cable entry/ leaving provisions, necessary isolation TP/SP MCBs and ISOLATORS etc complete as required for prevailing standards. KTDC will provide three phase/single supply with in 3m of each cold room and necessary cabling to panel to cold rooms must done by the supplier.The unit is fitted with a micro-processor based digital electronic temperature controller cum indicator for easy readability along with audio-visual alarm system. The controller should have the facility to set temperature and humidity value and also the safety limits for temperature and humidity. An audible alarm should be provided in the event of actual values exceeding the set limits,In the event of failure of the main mechanical refrigeration system or dehumidification device, the switch over to standby system should be automatic with indication of failure of main system.In the event of power failure,module should have delayed start in a sequesnce so that power lines are not loaded.

The supplier should do the necessary internal electrical wiring confirming to relavant standards as required at site including providing vapour proof type light fittings suiting to all temperature ranges with in the cold room with control on outside.

Supply of pre fabricated modular 100 mm PUF insulated sand witched (inside SS 304 and outside PPGI) Panels for the freezer room with corner panels and cam lock.The SS sheet shall have 0.5mm thickness.

Supply of pre fabricated modular 60 mm PUF insulated sand witched (inside SS 304 and outside PPGI) for the chiller room with corner panels and cam lock.The SS sheet shall have 0.5mm thickness.

Supply of 50mm thick PUF slab with bitumen sheet as vapour barrier for floor insulation for chiller room.

Supply of 100mm thick PUF slab with bitumen sheet as vapour barrier for floor insulation for freezer room.

Supply of flush type self closing swing 60 mm PUF insulated door (900 x 2000 mm) including door frame of 60 mm thick with SS laminations on inside and outside PPGI with anti condensation door heater, pad lock, posi seal closure, human safety release knob and etc complete as required at site.

Supply of flush type self closing swing 100 mm PUF insulated door (900 x 2000 mm) including door frame of 60 mm thick with SS laminations on bothsides with anti condensation door heater, pad lock, posi seal closure, human safety release knob and etc complete as required at site

Installation testing and commissioning of the cold room including panel erection, flooring, flashings, mounting of indoor & outdoor units, Cu piping, wiring, drain piping, pressure testing, vaccumising, gas charging, testing & commissioning and other electrical hook up, plumbing and drain hook up connection etc. complete in all respect with all required materials etc complete as required at site.

Supply and providing additional Copper Refrigerant piping ( for freezer room) and fitting using brazed joints, complete with required thickness tubular elastomeric nitrile rubber EPDM insulation and finished with glass cloth (microban) . The refrigerant piping shall be adequately sized to take care of the length of piping. Complete piping workmanship to be carried out as per recommended practice. The piping to be vacuum tested and leaktested. Scope includes all refrigerant pipes shall be properly supported and anchored to the building structure using steel hangers, anchors, brackets and supports etc which shall be fixed to the building structure by means of inserts or expansion shields of adequate size and number.

Supply and providing hooter and alarm for freezer room for the safety purpose

Supply and providing PVC strip curtain freezer garde for freezer room .

Supply of Storage racks suitable for the cold room for storing Vegetables/ Meat as required as per standards made out of food grade stainless steel (SS304) sheets angles , channels and perforated plates of 1.25 mm thickness.The individual racks provided shall have 4 shelves.

Electrical works

Supply and providing 25 A DP MCB isolator of good quality and reputed make in an enclosure.

Supply and providing 32 A Four pole MCB isolator of good quality and reputed make in a suitable enclosure.

Civil works

Kota stone slab flooring over 20 mm ( average) thick base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab, including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)25 mm thick.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:2:4 )1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).
