Earthwork

2.8.1 : Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) /manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.All kinds of soil

Concrete work

4.1.5 : Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

4.3.1 : Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for:Foundations, footings, bases for columns

5.1.2 : Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level:1:1:5:3 (1 cement 1.5 coarse sand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size

5.9.1 : Centering and shuttering including strutting, etc. and removal of form for:Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc for mass concrete

Stone work

Providing and laying decorated basement (Height of basement 72 cm, top width 48 cm) in traditional style with 'Panchavarga', as shown in the drawing, using good quality of black granite jointed with lime mortar as per the instruction of Engineer in charge and standard practice followed traditionally. (No extra payment will be made for the lime mortar) (The item is of Krishnashila and Palavana finishing shall be provided on the back side.)

Providing and fixing 'Single black Granite Stone pillar' as shown in the drawing with all decorative works specified therein including (base) as shown using hard granite stone as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge. (In the pillar for the corners ‘Nagabandham’ shall be carved. On all the four sides of pillars ‘Palavana’ finishing shall be provided. In the bottom pedestal of the pillar (‘Oma’) Padmadalam is not required.)

Providing and laying,'Talakkallu'- unpolished granite stone slabs top hatched, levelled and finished, of minimum thickness 5 cm , for flooring inside Balikkalpura and around as the plinth Protection as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge. (‘Palavana’ finishing required for granite flooring.)

Wood work

Supplying and fixing Anjily wood wrought and put up for roof members like Pothika,Utharam, Kazhikkol ( Ner, koti, Alasi etc), Vala, Valabandham, Ridge ,Vamata, Pattika etc. in traditional style including cost and conveyance of materials etc. complete .

50.9.14.1 : Supplying and fixing Anjily wood reapers of size 50x25 mm with wire nails including cost and conveyance of materials etc. complete.

Providing and fixing well seasoned second class teak wood roof members for the Mughappu in all traditional design including all labour for ornamental cutting, steps, moulding etc. wherever necessary as per the drawing including all scaffolding charges. Wooden members has to undergo seasoning and season certificate may be produced. as per 4.3 of special condition attached. (In the Mughappu, all the required carvings and elements such as Shivaroopam (in Mangalapalaka), Shivabhoothaganagal (in Mandipalaka), Aanaroopam (in Gajamuttu) and all ornamental works in ‘Njali’ and Mughakkals to be included.)

Providing and fixing second class teak wood Eve boards of size 150 mm X 20 mm at the edges of rafter roof with necessary screws and necessary decoration works including charges for scafolding charges as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying Herbal oil known as 'Ashttakoottu oil' on wooden members for durability as per the instruction of Engineer in charge

Applying sealer compound after Preparing the surface/cracks with suitable wooden fillets after cleaning and smoothing the surface and grooves with special chisel/tools applying 1 or more coat of wooden filler diluted in special thinner.Entire surface will be sand papering smooth manually without disturbing the wooden carving details.Then Apply second coat of wooden filler and sand papering smoothly.Then the entire surface will be applied with two or more coat of sealer compound

Roofing work

Providing and laying approved make, MP tiles of 320 mm or nearest size over reeper bands (already done) to correct lines and levels including the cost, conveyance of all materials etc. including scaffolding charges complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying MP hip and ridge tiles with class AA Mangalore pattern tiles of approved brand including fixing with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand ) as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all levels.

Providing fixing onceiling factory pressed clay decorative floral tile (under mangalore tile roof) of 320mm x 200 mm x 12mm and as per approved pattern on timber frame work complete including extra lowering charge and scaffolding charges as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Timber frame work to be paid separately).

Providing and Fixing Traditional 'Thazhikakudam' of size up to 0.72 m height made of good quality copper and fixing to the roof top complete job as per the direction of Engineer in charge

Proving and fixing 'Vamata Bandham'(SS Bolt) with bottom head, with brass or bronze decorative nut head (in traditional style)

1.17.3 : Supplying and drawing following sizes of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in the existing surface / recessed steel/ PVC conduit as required.3 X 1.5 sq.mm
