Providing services of Valve Operator cum plumber to regulate all valves fixed on main CPVC water supply line of rising at terrace to control water supply in terrace tanks and monitoring filling up and overflow during pumping hours, checking of any other water supply related problems in housing and hostel blocks , academic and all buildings of water supply line of the Institute . (One person in each of two shifts daily) Tmining for valve operator - 6.00 am to 2.00 pm & 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm. Cost of new material provided for replacement / repair shall be measured and paid separately. ( Note : Work will be executed as per additional terms and condditons mentioned under Para - 22,24 recovery as per provision of para 23 etc as required ).

Attending day today complaints of leakage and seepage from walls and ceilings due to leakage from waterpipes, taps, traps, bottle traps, urinals and WC etc by opening /breaking of ceiling / wall / floors etc and repairing the same including providing new material as required and resooration of ceiling / walls etc complete as per directionof engineer incharge. Dismanlted servicable material if any received after replacement of new one shall be handed over to JE/AE incharge of the work. Cost of new material provided for replacement / repair shall be measured and paid separately. ( Note : Work will be executed as per additional terms and condditons mentioned under Para - 22,24 recovery as per provision of para 23 etc as required ).

Attending day to day complaints of sewerman by providing labour and material etc complete as per directionof Engineer in charge.Cost of new material provided for replacement / repair shall be measured and paid separately. ( Note : Work will be executed as per additional terms and condditons mentioned under Para - 22,24 recovery as per provision of para 23 etc as required ).

Cleaning and desilting of rainwater chambers of rubbish mixed with earth and disposal of the same , all as per direction of Engineer In Charge. Upto 0.90 m depth.

Applying two coats of anti- efflorccence primer coat of salt gourd of CHOKSEY or other approved brand on affected portion of formation of salt on walls after cleaning the surface with brush and sand paper till satisfaction level is achieved. Providing and laying gang saw cut 18 mm thick, mirror polished pre moulded and pre polished machine cut granite stone of required size and shape of approved shade, colour and texture in footpath, flooring cut granite stone of required size and shape of approved shade, colour and texture in footpath, flooring in road side plazas and similar locations, laid over 20mm thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1cement : 4 coarse sand) including grouting the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With granite stone of area less than 0.50 sqm.

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying old cement cocrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in-charge. (Old CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the department free of cost).

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting,hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete

Providing and laying china mosaic water proofing treatment on existing surface of roofs, balconies, terrace etc using pieces of tiles consisting of following operations. a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 and approved by the Engineer in charge over the existing surface including the walls up to 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment . b)Laying 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:4 admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 and approved by the Engineer in charge.c) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 and approved by the Engineer in charge . d) Laying china mosaic tiles over cement mortar and filling the gap between the china mosaic tiles with white cement. All the above operations to be done in order and directed and specified by the Engineer in charge.
