Construction of embankment with approved materials excavated from roadway sides in cutting or filling lift upto 1.50m with normal lead upto 50m. spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per technical specification clause 301.5.

Granular Sub-base with well Graded Material (Table400.1) By Mix in Place Method-Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

WBM Grading 2- Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of 45-63mm size to water bound macadam grade-2 specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth whee roller 80-100 Kn in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening / binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Clauses 405.

Providing, laying,G-3 spreading and compacting stone aggregated of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth whee roller 80-100 Kn in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening / binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clauses 405.

Prime Coat- Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-2) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical meansc clause 502

Tack Coat- Providing and applying Tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleand with Hydraulic broom clause 503

20mm thick open-graded premix carpet using bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat clause 508.

Seal Coat- Providing and laying Type C seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall clause 510

Construction of subgrade & shoulders with approved material obtained from available land as permitted and approved by Engineer-in-charge and as per technical specification clause 301.3.4.1 with all lifts and leads, spreading grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per technical specification clause 301.5. Excavation in foundation in ordinary soil (Loam clay or sand) including filling lift upto 1.5 metre (5fts.) into the trenches upto30 m. (100fts) & including filling watering and ramming of excavated earth into the trenches or into the space between the building and the sides of foundation trenches or into the plinth and removal and disposal of surplus earth as directed by the Engineer in charge upto a distance of 30m (100fts) form the foundation trenches (As per SOR 251)
