CA NO CWE/AMB/SOUTH-41 OF 2026-27 REPAIR/RESURFACING OF ROADS INCLUDING PAINTING AND REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-II (S) UNDER GE(SOUTH) AMBALA CANTT

Material and labour for repair to pot holes of any depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads/path etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm and more as per site requirement in depth and making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen @ of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) for depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n.exc 400 sqm/road cutting for drainage chamber, drainage pipe etc depth n.exc 50mm including removing the rubbish material not exc 500 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of unsurfaced macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 7.5 Kg per 10 Sqm on WBM surfaces as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 50 MM compacted thickness conforming to clauses 504 of MoRTH specification for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granular material etc. of grading 11 as per table 500-7 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) premixed with bituminous binder, bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by wait of total mix)prepared in Batch Type Hot Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified. Notes: (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/CTL/Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.4 of MoRTH specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty ass specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 54.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion RS1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 2.5 Kg per 10 Sqm on bituminous surfaces as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Bituminious premix dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness), pre-mixed, hot mix, with coarse aggregate of grading 2 as per MoRTH specification clause 507, in single layer using paving bitumen (grade VG-30) @ 6% by weight of the total mix as per design mix including supply and mixing of anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quality,quantity and grade as per approved job mix formula), cleaning and preheating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature and thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content and other materials as specified as per mix design in batch type hot mix plant of capacity 100-120 TPH, carrying the hot mixed material by means of tippers, trucks or other approved arrangements, laying the hot premixed material over the prepared surfaces using full width mechanical sensor paver with string sensor rolled and compacted to required gradient and camberand compacted with 8 to12 tonne power vibratory road roller including running expense of all plants and machines, including necassary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface and quality control tests as required as per MoRTH specifications and specified in tender documents, including taking down of existing cat eyes and refixing of cat eyes after laying premix complete all as specified and directed. Note- (i) Bituminous premix dense asphaltic concrete shall prepared in central computerised batch type hot mix plant. complete all as specified and as directed. (ii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from laboratory as decided by GE, before laying the DAC. (iii) A recovery @ Rs 54.00 per kg shall be made if the bitumen content in design mix is found on lower side but no adjustment shall be made if the bitumen content is found on higher side than specified.

Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces, removing dust, dirt, grease & other foreign matters etc. to receive the marking and applying hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint (white/yellow) conforming to BS-3262-1989 inclusive type I reflectorising glass beads as per table 800-3, 800-4 of MoRTH applied in uniform thickness of at least 2.5mm and wide and spread uniformly with reflectorising glass beads type I & II as per Clause 803.4.3 of MoRTH specifications with a road marking machine as per IRC: 35 ,with traffic diversion arrangements if required, complete as per MoRTH specification clause 803.4, complete all as specified and directed. Note: The road marking machine shall be approved by GE.

Supply and fixing (in repair) cat eye, dual (62 beads minimum), aluminium casted body, of size 100mm x 100mm x18.5mm, having ABS plastic strip containing 62 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow on both sides (minimum 31 beads on each sides) and fixed complete with steel zinc plated nails/stud of dia 12mm and of length 120mm complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Fixing arrangement shall be as per manufacturer's instructions. (ii) Designed to bear 25 Tonnes load and having impact strength of 253 KN.

Supply and fixing (in epair) Solar Road stud 125 x 125 x 25 mm. Solar Road stud made stud made from aluminium alloy, solar powered by monocrystal solar panel with following specification:- (i) Battery type -One high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery (ii) LED shall be 10 mm, 3 piece each side and total 6 piece for high brightness of different colours. (iii) Back up time shall not less than 12 hours of contineous lighting at night. (iv) Design to bear 25 Tones and having impact strength of 253 KN, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair road convex mirror of dia 101 cm, fitted in orange colour cap body of ABS with glass m irror made up of unbreakable poly-corbonate including MS Pipe vertical post pipe Gde 30 G fixed with nut and bolts and clamp system with stainless steel bracket, including necessary excavation of post holes and embeded in cement concrete type B-1,1: 2: 4( using 20 mm graded stone agg), complete all as s specified and directed.
