Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

All kinds of soil

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and emoval of form work for :

Foundations, footings, bases for columns

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III): 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubesetc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position andapplying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete.

Hot finished welded type tubes

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (Tile profiled)(size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineerin- charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete :

Ridges plain (500 - 600mm)

Providing and fixing PVC mouded rain water gutter 150 MM with iron brackets 20x6mm size, bolts, nuts and washers etc., including making necessary connections with rain water pipes complete all as per the directions of engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing rigid PVC SWR (soil, waste and rainwater) drainage / rain water pipe including accessories like bends and fixing withpipe clips, adhesive at joints all as per manufacturer'sspecifications to required length etc., complete all as per specifications and directions of Engineer in charge.

75mm dia OD pipes with minimum wall thickness of 1.80 mm.

Providing wood work in chairs/benches with suitable sections of required sizes fixed properly to the main CI/MS frames including properly moulding the same to suitable sections, finishing the surface etc complete all as per specifications and directions of EIC. (Only wood work will be measured in this item. Steel frames of chairs/benches shall be measured seperately)

In Second class teak wood

Providing and fixing cast iron chair/bench with frames in moulded grills of approved pattern and design including connecting and making bench by connecting with structural steel sections/tubular sections and fixed on floor properly. (Only weight of cast iron sections will be measured in this item. MS tubular steel sections shall be measured as a seperate item)

Chequerred precast cement concrete tiles 22 mm thick in footpath & courtyard, jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles, including rubbing and cleaning etc. complete, on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand).

Dark shade pigment using ordinary cement

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

Applying priming coat :

With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Two or more coats on new work

Finishing wood with lacquer polish including preparing the surface properly sanded,and sealed. Immediately before applying lacquer, clean the piece of furniture thoroughly with a tack cloth etc complete all as directed by EIC

Two or more coats on new works including a coat of wood filler
