M&L for online centrifuging (filtration/ dehydration) of transformer oil including checking di-electric strength of oil before and after filtration for 33KV/ 11KV indoor/out door transformers located at NSTL area with suitable machine having filtration, heating and pumping facility to improve the dielectric strength/ insulation value of oil. Notes :- (i) Di-electric strength of oil after filtration/ dehydration shall not be less than 90 KV/min. (ii) The contactor shall take shut down orders in writing from Engineer-in-charge before commencement of the work. (iii) The contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil. (iv) The di-electric strength of oil shall be tested before & after filtration and test results shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Item No. 1 herein before but for 11KV/ 433V indoor/out door transformers located at NSTL area with suitable machine having filtration, heating and pumping facility to improve the dielectric strength/ insulation value of oil. Notes :- (i) Di-electric strength of oil after filtration/ dehydration shall not be less than 60 KV/min. (ii) The contactor shall take shut down orders in writing from Engineer-in-charge before commencement of the work. (iii) The contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil. (iv) The di-electric strength of oil shall be tested before & after filtration and test results shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for spray painting with Silicon acrylic heat resistant paint of approved quality & colour to indoor/outdoor type, step up/step down transformer of 100 KVA to 500 KVA capacity, installed at different locations at NSTL after thoroughly scraping the existing corroded paint/rust, filling of cavities complete without disturbing/damaging the electrical net work system including writing the details such as SM/MES No., capacity/ rating/ incoming & outgoing details all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 3 herein before but transformer of rating 750 KVA to 1000 KVA

S&F in repair silica gel breather assembly transparent type with first fill of silica gel suitable for 250 KVA transformers complete including connecting with proper rubberized gasket complete including necessary GI fittings all as specified and directed.

Supply and fill silica gel in breathers of transformers all as specified. [Note: The silica gel shall be brought in air tight container]

Supply and filling new transformer oil for topping up the transformers duly filtered with filtration plant having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed. [Make : Poweroil/ Electrol/ Savitha/ Tashol/ Servo]. Note :- (a) The transformer oil shall be type EHV confirming to IS - 335/1983. (b) Mineral oil grade shall be used. (c) The IR value of transformer oil shall not be less than 60KV/min. (d) The unit rate shall be deemed to include the cost of filtration to achieve desired di-electric strength.

S&F gun metal gate valve of 32mm dia bore [Class-II, 1.6 Mpa] with ISI mark and iron wheel head, screwed both ends to GI pipes including taking down old unserviceable valve all as specified. [Make: Leader/ Bir/ Zoloto]

M&L for isolating the HT supply of transformer, disconnecting HT and LT connections of transformer by opening clamps, bus bar extension and isolating the cables from outdoor type transformer of 250 to 1000 KVA capacity, checking of transformer pressure release valve, oil condition and carrying out tests such as HV/LV megger test, ratio test, magnetic balance test, short circuit test including opening the inspection cover/ top lid after draining out of oil as required to check the lead condition from winding to bus rods including necessary soldering/ jointing etc, and charging the transformer after making all necessary connections/ assembly & control circuits all as specified and as directed. [Note: Test results shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge after the job is completed]

Taking down unserviceable sheet gasket (Cork sheet), Supply and fix synthetic rubberized cork sheet gasket 6mm thick for top cover HT/LT bushes at places existing and tightening all the bushings and top cover to avoid any oil leakages for transformer of capacity 200 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed

All as per Item No. 19 herein before but for transformer of capacity 750 to 1600 KVA

Taking down unserviceable/ burnt tinned copper bus bar of various sizes from HT/LT side cable bushing rods from the transformer of any capacity and supply and fix electrolyte tinned copper bus bar of suitable size and length including making holes as required at site, fixed to the transformer LT/HT side cable bushing rods all as specified and as directed

Taking down defective tap changer assembly from transformer, Supply and fix offload tap changer assembly suitable for transformer of any make up to 750 KVA capacity with 7 tapping positions including opening top cover, conservator etc. all as specified and as directed. [Make: As per OEM]

Supply and making new LT 1100 V end termination with suitable size of aluminium lugs duly crimped for LT 3 ½ core armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 185 to 240sq.mm after isolating supply to transformer/ LT panel and disconnecting brunt/ faulty cable from the bunch of cables in trenches, galleries, removing cable loop, opening the cable blank and connecting back after end terminals, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed. [Note: Complete termination for all cores of one cable end shall be measured as one job]

All as per Item No. 23 herein before but for cable of size 3½ core, 300 to 500sq.mm

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth strip of 32X6mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel and connected from earth plate electrode to main switch board/ earthing test point including watering arrangement with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, MS funnel, wire gauge, 50mm thick precast RCC cover in Type B1, including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m, charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of Schedule Part-I 2009 and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated and testing on completion

S&F earth continuity conductor or main earth lead of GI strip of size 32 x 6mm complete fixed to wall/ poles on battens or recess including 40mm height saddle type epoxy insulator or buried in ground including screws etc. and connections with existing earth test point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge including taking down existing strip.

Shifting of standby Transformer of any capacity from New/ Old MRS to various sub stations/ transformer locations at NSTL area by road, disconnecting and removing the existing faulty transformer and installation of standby transformer, making necessary HT/LT cable connections, earth connections and restoration of power supply including necessary T&P like hydraulic crane, truck, slings etc. all as specified and as directed

Supply and replace danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT 20x15cm size all as directed.

Supply, lay, testing of HT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded Aluminium conductor 11000 Volts (earthed) grade of size 3 core 185sq.mm including disconnecting and taking out the existing unserviceable HT cable from trenches all specified and as directed. Note: (i) Necessary test results like continuity test, megger tests, shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge before the cable is laid. Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of LT XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric aluminium conductor cable 1100 Volts grade, ISI marked as per IS-7098-I, of size 3½ core x 70 sq.mm. (laid in trenches, ducts, pole, wall etc.) including taking out old unserviceable LT cable from trenches/pole/ducts etc. all as specified: Note: (i) Necessary test results like continuity test, megger tests, shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge before the cable is laid. Excavating in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. n. exc. 10sq.m. on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil.

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in any type of soil.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50m above the starting point.

Supply and spread river sand as in cushioning for UG cable all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part I. [Note: Punned down thickness shall be considered for payment]

Supply & lay precast cable cover class LV, type 1, flat of size 250x150x40mm for cable protection all as specified

M&L for carrying out repairs to LT/ HT pillar box by taking down the doors, removing dents/ bends, cutting and removing rusted portions and welding new CRCA sheet of existing thickness, renewal of door gasket and refixing the doors with new hinges duly welded complete including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer on new steel surfaces all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of HT/LT panels/ cable duct covers including cleaning the surfaces free from dust and grease using coarse cloth & cleaning agents and applying one spray coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and lettering the details of HT/LT panels with black/ white paint using stencils or by self adhesive stickering with size of letter not less than 5cm complete all as specified and as directed.
