Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-ChargeI. A) In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. . i) upto 3 m depth a) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. A) Pakur Variety. Cement: PPC/PSC/OPC 33

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open foundation with or without reinforcements, in any part of foundation of bridges / culverts with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes, including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, cost of curing with water, including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. Including cost of formwork but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications. A) RCC Grade M20 i) Using concrete mixer Cement: PPC/PSC/OPC 33 Note: 1. From durability consideration, the value of minimum cement content and maximum water cement ratio to be considered in the mix design shall be mentioned in the items as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fitting and placing un-coated HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Foundation including including initialstraightening, straightening of coils bars, removal ofloose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. A) Tor Steel rods / HYSD bars I TMT bars. (JSW/JSPL/Shyam/SRMB/SSL/BMASL/Electrosteel ) (Fe 415/Fe 500 IFe 5000 Conform to IS:1786).

M.S. structural works with hollow sections (square or rectangular shape) conforming to IS: 806-1968 & IS:1161-1998) connected to one another with bracket, gusset, cleat as per design, drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete including cutting to requisite shape & size, fabrication including metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816-1969 & IS: 9595 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of all M.S. Hollow section, all consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charges of all tools and plants and labour reqired for execution and all incidental chages (such as electricity, labour insurance) etc. complete. A) For other Structural works like galleries etc.

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-in charge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. A) For built up sections / srtuctural members of specified sections weighing not less than 22.5 Kg./m

Driving M.S. sheet piles of any kind of approved type and size conforming to IS code in all kinds of soil/ soil mixed with gravel, shingle & pebbles, by monkey hammer including handling, cutting to requisite size, drilling holes, hoisting in position, welding, fabrication of sets of tapper piles, corner piles etc. with clutch bars as may be required including staging, scaffolding and hire charges of driving machinery and equiepments, craping and cleaning piles, painting the sufrace with one coat of surface primer of approved make and brand and two coats of ready mixed oil bound paint (except red lead and black japan) etc including all cost of labours, supply and carriage of equipments to site (by any mean) as per drawing and direction of EIC but excluding the cost of sheet piles. N.B. Measurement of area underground to be taken i.e. straight length of pile multiplied by driven length.

Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.

Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : A) On steel or other metal surface: i) With super gloss (hi-gloss) - a) Two coats (with any shade except white).
