M&L , monthly Inspection, maintenance and servicing of DG sets of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed as specified for the following DG sets :- (a) 160 KVA Capacity - 01 No. (b) 125 KVA Capacity - 01 No (c)100 KVA Capacity - 04 Nos (d) 35 KVA Capacity - 01 No. (e) 30 KVA Capacity - 01 No. (f) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note (i) Oil shall be measured and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iii)Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring.

NOTE : (i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note : Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt if required. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iii) Checking of oil bath air cleaner level (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring.

NOTE (CONTD) : (xi) Checking of all radiator rubber hose and replacement if required. (xii) Checking and recording oil pressure, water and oil temperarute (xiii) Checking anti vibration mounting and replacement if required. Note : Anti vibration pad shall be measured and paid separately (xiv) Checking throttle linkage (xv) Checking battery for cell test, electrolyte level, gravity and topping up to required level (xvi) Routine check / repair work of panel, switch, MCCB, main switch, all contactors, engine control unit. (xvii) Checking of AMF panel, all electrical connections etc. (xviii) Checking of earthing resistance (xix) Cleaning of vegitation around the DG set up to 1.5 mtr area. (xx) Contractor shall employ skilled labour (FGM) for the above repairs and one company engineer/ technician for over all repairs once in month.

Supply and topping /filling of Coolent oil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of old burn out Engine oil 20 W 40 turbo synthetic superior quality engine oil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling, existing fuel pump assy from 06 cylinders, water cooled Engine, of Make : Kirloskar/ cummins, (DG SET 30 KVA) over hauling/calbiration by replacement of injector nozzle tips-06 Nos, pressure timing spring, piston plunger, gear pinion, solenoid valve and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dismantling, existing fuel pump assy from 06 cylinders, water cooled Engine, of Make : Kirloskar/ cummins, (DG SET 100 KVA) over hauling/calbiration by replacement of injector nozzle tips-06 Nos, pressure timing spring, piston plunger, gear pinion, solenoid valve and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the radiator and fan from the engine for cleaning of copper tubes and cooling fins by using descaling solution and soldering, patch work including repair of water pump assembly and replacement of defective parts of water pump and re-assembliying,testing complete upto 125 KVA DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply & fix in repair AVR for DG set having capacity 100 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Dismantling existing pipe connections and electrical connections, de-watering and lifting up the Non cloging type submersible pumps 15 KW of discharge capacity 4500 LPM and 2083 LPM (Make KSB) from UG sewage sump of 10.7 mtr deep carefully and transporting to workshop for repair and bringing back at site after repair and lowering the same including making the water and electric connection including commissioning and testing complete. Note :- (i) Repair of submersible pump and pump motor shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of this schedule. (ii) T&P shall be arranged by the contractor. (iii) Transportation of pump set from site to workshop and bringing back at site inclusive in quoted rate.

De-assembling of electric motor of 15 KWs of Non cloging submersible pump set (Make KSB), cutting and removing the existing burnt winding wire of any gauge, cleaning and making good the slots, rewinding the electric motor with PVC insulated copper wire of appropriate size/gauge, application of insulating material & varnishing including replacing of ball bearings-02 Nos, moisture seal and re-assembling the motor, commissioning & testing complete to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge all as specified and directed.

De-assembling of Non-clogging submersible pump assembly of discharge capacity 2083 LPM, 16 mtrs head, Make-KSB, for repair by replacing of company recomended parts of Mechanical seal - 2 Nos, CI impeller - 1 No, Lower Bearing - 1 No, O Ring - 1 No, Spiral plate - 1 No, Compay recomended Lubriucating oil - 7 Ltrs, Moisture sensor including bolts, nuts and washers, re-assembling the same and comisioning & testing complete all as specified and directed.

De-assembling of Non-clogging submersible pump assembly of discharge capacity 4500 LPM, 16 mtrs head, Make-KSB, for repair by replacing of company recomended parts of Mechanical seal - 2 Nos, CI impeller - 1 No, Lower Bearing - 1 No, O Ring - 1 No, company recomended lubricating oil 4.5 ltrs, Moisture sensor, including bolts, nuts and washers and re-assembling, comisioning & testing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F, in repair PVC Hose Pipe with nylone rings,heavy duty, high density suitable for lifting of raw water/sewage water/clear water of sine 150mm bore complele all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of underground RCC sewage sump of 16 mtrs deep, 12 mtrs internal dia, de-watering, taking out sludge/mud from the sump, rubbing, scraping all around vertical walls, floor, cleaning with fresh water, applying two coat of white wash of internal surfaces and outer exposed sufaces of wall and floor including thrown away the sludge/mud, out side of the MD land, complete all as specified and as directed. Note- All T&P and safety measure kit for deployed workers shall be arranged by the contractor.

Supply and Fix in repair auto starter 30 Amp cum fault analyzer cum protection & control panel fabricated out of 16 guage sheet for 30 HP motor .provided & fitted with MNX -80-2Nos,MNX-50-01No,of approved make along with MCCB of 63 Amp rating (thermal magnetc) with rotary handle also of (L&T/SIEMENS/SCHNEIDER) for 30 HP -01 No Star delta timer 1 No Digital fault analyzer cum controller which provide protection against low voltage below 375 V, High voltage above 445 V, single phasing, reverse phasing, Un balanced phasing, Dry running, overloading with toggle switch for by passing fault analyzer system including 01 set phase indicating lamp, 01 No 3 phase digital volt meter & 01 No 3 phase digital amp meter should be provided alongwith suitable current transformer. The internal control wiring should be done with flexible PVC LT copper wire with proper thimbling at each end. LED contactor 'COIL OK', indicators, one for each of the contactors / coils, LED star and delta indicators to access the star to delta timing and an audio warning system/ siren which activate only on starter failure. (Bus bar cap - 60 Amp Aluminum) Complete all as specified and directed

Supply & fix in replacement of unserviceable battery 12 V, 180 AH with maintenance free battery complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair 1.50M battery lead with negative & positive brass terminals of suitable size, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F in replacement current Transformer (100/5),Auto clear 1.0,bucal 15 VA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F in repair change over switch 200 Amps 415 Volts with sheet metal enclosure ,side handle operated complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair change over switch 100 Amps 415 Volts with sheet metal enclosure,side handle operated complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth, for foundation, etc in hard/dense soil and getting out complete all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exc 25 cm with soil obtained from excavation all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (Soil) not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

Taking up, 150mm bore, cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead dor sewage complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm bore cast iron pipes with spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast, class LA, in any length laid in trenches for sewage complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair Fuel water seperator suitable for 25 to125 KVA DG Set complete all as specified & directed

Supply and fix in repair V belt of DG set of suitable size, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement oil temperature gauge, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Attending Day to Day complaints of street light like burned wire,line/ cable fault, taking down unserviceable street lights and refixing and fresh connection of existing street lights(removing carbon/ rust) complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. If Loged Complaint are not done by contractor every day recovery should be made double of quoted rate. 2. Any T&P required for repairing of Street light should be provided by the contractor.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation of pole, laying of cables etc in soft/loose soil and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing dry river sand as in sand cushioning to UG cable including punning gently all as directed. Note: Depth after punning shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying sub class old 'B' burnt bricks, size of brick 230x115x75mm, laid as cable protection cover complete all as specified and directed.
