Notes for item Nos. 45 to 54: (i) All necessary precautions and all safety measures as per Municipality rules / relevant regulatory guidelines shall be taken by the Contractor in employing his mechnical means and workmen. No person shall be employed in direct contact working in septic tanks, manholes, sewage wells, etc. in foul conditions to prevent any health hazards, etc. and only mechanical means shall be used (ii) The Contractor shall be solely responsible for any mishap to any of labourer deployed and to equipment/machinery/plants/material, etc. brought at site for work and any lapses whatsoever during the execution, (iii) The work shall be executed under the supervision of highly skilled tradesman / supervisor (iv) Drawn sludge, waste material, scum, spoil water, etc. shall be removed to outside MD land through designated sludge carriers / bio tanks only (v) To avoid any hazard or spreading of any foul gas bleaching powder shall be spread as directed (vi) The rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the above aspects, and no claims whatsover shall be entertainable at later stages and or during execution
