| 1Demolishing and chipping of unsound/ weak concrete materials of beams, columns, slabs, walls etc. to a depth about 20mm behind the existing corroded/ damaged reinforcing bars in RCC manually using chisel or hammer/ by mechanical means using concrete breaker machine in low vibration mode or pneumatic Chisel, cutting the perimeter of the damaged area to a minimum depth of 10 mm using appropriate cutter, removing all damaged/ loose particles, loose plasters, surface preparation of concrete using wire brush/ scrapper to completely remove dust, debris, unwanted particles etc., complete including disposing the debris up to a lead of 5 kilometre, stacking serviceable and unserviceable material separately including cutting reinforcement bars if any etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. | |||||

| 2Cleaning of rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of cost of all materials, consumables, all labour, hire charges of tools and other incidentals etc. complete all as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. | |||||
