Labour only for attending breakdowns / leakage complaints of underground pipe lines of any type and description such as DI / CI / MS of size 200mm to 300mm bore dia by cleaning the pipe line surfaces, identifying the leakage / breakdown of pipe line, removing the damaged portion of pipe line from trenches by gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement, replacing with new pipe line / fittings / accessories by fixing / welding / threading as per site requirement and testing after completion for leak proof working complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC, Pipe fittings and accessories etc as required at site shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply Only" under relevant items of BOQ. However, the Quoted rate shall be inclusive of the following provisions:- (i) Breakdown / leakages should be attended and completed within 24 hours from the time of intimation to contractor by JE E/M / Engineer-in-Charge, failing which, penal recovery of Rs. 500 per hour shall be deducted from contractor dues. (ii) Sufficient manpower such as Plumber, Welder and helpers as per site requirement shall be provided by contractor to ensure the work to be completed within the time specified by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Necessary arrangement for manual dewatering / dewatering pump as required at site to complete the work within the specified time. (iv) Necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipment, machinery and temporary lighting arrangement to work during night time etc as required at site shall be provided by the contractor.

Note:- Excavation and earth work below road / hard standing will be measured and paid under relevant items.

Material and labour constructing valve chamber of internal dimensions 1mtr x1mtr x1.2 metres with 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8 ) type D-2 for foundation, brick walls built in cement mortar (1:4 ), PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for coping , rendering in cement mortar 1:4 , 15 mm thick internally and on exposed surfaces externally up to 15 cm above GL. Bottom PCC floor of the pit should be minimum 30 cms below the bottom surface of sluice valve flange to provide sufficient working space. The sluice valve and other fittings should be housed in centre of the pit, the vertices of the pit should be in right angle and champhered .The top cover of the pit will be made out of 3mm MS sheet with angle iron frame made out of MS angle 50mm x 50 mm x 6 mm with MS hinges two Nos, and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enamelled paint over one coat of red oxide primer, including demolition and taking out of existing broken valve chamber of any description, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for brick masonry with sub class B bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick cement plaster 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth (with out using extra cement) complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling or removing of centrifugal coupled / monoblock electric pump set of any make and model, of capacity 250 HP to 270 HP multi-stage (6 to 10 stages) pump set from its installed position by disconnecting suction and delivery lines, fixing dummy plate to both suction & delivery pipe, disconnecting electrical cables, earth strips and dismounting the pump and motor from base channel for overhauling / repair / rewinding of motor etc and reinstalling back in its original position, checking alignment and testing on completion for satisfactory performance complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Overhauling, re-winding and spare parts required for repair shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Cleaning of the existing open water well of size 12 m dia and 18 m depth located at Yarada Village pump House by removing accumulated silt, sludge, algae, vegetation, floating matter, debris, and any foreign materials using manual or mechanical means as required; bailing out water to facilitate cleaning; scraping and brushing of the well’s inner lining; disposal of removed materials to a designated location as directed; and thorough washing of the well interior to restore hygienic conditions.
