PROVISION OF DG SET FOR WEAPON EQUIPMENT IN NORTH WING OF P-38 BUILDING AT ASW SCHOOL AND STREET LIGHTS ALONG WITH POLES AT TELEPHONE EXCHANGE BLDG NO. P-26 AT NAVAL BASE KOCHI AREA UNDER AGE E/M NO. II

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of approved OEM factory assembled diesel generator set of totally enclosed and sound proof (with acoustic enclosure as per CPCB 4+ norms) of capacity 160 KVA, 3 phase, 4 wire, 415 volts, 1500 RPM, AC power supply with power factor 0.8, coupled directly to alternator mounted on common base plate complete with fuel tank, battery and standard accessories and fittings, vibration pads, PCC foundation complete all as specified and directed. The genset shall conform to CPCB4 + norms for noise and emission limits and including the following :

(a) ALTERNATOR: Standard design alternator rated at 160 KVA net output at site after considering all derating factors, site conditions and at power factor 0.8, AC, 3 phase, 4 wire 415 volts, 50 cycles, 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulated, screen protected, drip proof IP-23 enclosure, brushless design, insulating class H, voltage regulation +/- 1% operated voltage from no load to full load and shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation within +/- 3% tolerance, revolving field type.

(b) DIESEL ENGINE: Adequate capacity diesel engine suitable to above alternator, radiator water cooled, to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditions directly coupled to alternator multicylinder, multistroke, direct injection, cold starting, 1500 RPM, with an overload cap of 10% for 1 hour and in any load for 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories complete all as specified and as required for safe running and operation with accessories shall be as under:- (i) Flywheel (ii) Air cleaner wet/dry type

(iii) Fuel filter (iv) Fuel injection system incl.injection pump, solenoid switch, nozzle as per manufacturer's specifications (v) Lubricating oil filter (vi) Lubricating oil pump (vii) Turbocharger (viii) Radiator (ix) 24 volts starting system consisting of batteries of capacity as recommended by manufacturer, battery connections with copper leads and with lugs of adequate size, initial charging of batteries, battery charger/ generator with regulator, starter motor, starter gear (x) Extension of exhaust silencer complete with exhaust pipe of suitable dia from out side canopy to out side of bldg/ shed all covered with glass wool wrapped with aluminium foil of 28 SWG adequate to create draft for safe exhaust without transferring vibrations to buildings/ walls, flexible exhaust pipe complete.

(xi) Microprocessor control electronic metering and module for indication of battery voltage, oil pressure, engine RPM, hour meter and protection against low oil pressure and over speed of engine including electronic governing. (xii) Battery charging system with suitable capacity battery charger complete with necessary connecting leads etc all as directed (xiii) Radiator cooling system comprising of radiator, radiator fan belt. (xiv) Fuel hoses. (xv) In Built Fuel tank of minimun 8 hours run on full load capacity of DG set (xvi) Air intake system (xvii) Common base frame of sturdy design suitable for antivibration mounting and permanent concrete foundation for mounting engine and alternator as per manufacturers instructions.

(c) CONTROL PANEL: CRCA Steel fabricated indoor type for controlling the above generating set. The control panel shall consisting of the following components:- (i) MCCB Four Pole 250 Amps, 35 KA of rated capacity (as per OEM - 1 No) (ii) Set of indicating lamps - 03 No (Load ON DG/Mains & Set Running) (iii) Set of instrument fuses - 01 Set, (iv) Set of current transformers - 01 Set

(x) CTs Set of 3 - 1 Set (xi) Load on DG Indicator - 1 No (xii) Load on Mains Indicator - 1 No (xiii) Mains ON Indicator - 1 No (xiv) DG ON Indicator - 1 No (xv) Digital VAFPAF meter : 01 Nos (xvi) Supply and lay Control cable LT 1100 Volt PVC insulated armoured heavy duty copper conductor of suitable size multicore from DG Set to AMF panel (xvii) Any other components/ parts as per manufacturer instructions and as directed by GE required for entire completion of the item.

(e) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Composite type made of CRCA sheet and structural/sheet metal base frame duly painted with air inlet louvers, including noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material, including removable gland plate at lower level of canopy for cable cable entry. Notes: (i) Necessary PCC foundation as per manufacturer recommendations is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The drg and specifications of the DG set & AMF Panel shall be got approved by the contractor from the accepting officer before procurement. (iii) The DG set after installation shall be got tested at site by the rep nominated by the Accepting Officer and the records of the testing shall be signed by the rep of accepting officer, GE, Engr-in-Charge and the Contractor.

(iv) Diesel, grease, engine oil, load bank and testing equipment's required for testing shall be provided by the contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the contractor's quoted rates. (v) The contractor shall carry out all incomming/out going/control cable connections including cable glands, thimble, nuts, washers, etc are included in the scope of work, only power cable will be measured and paid under respective item of schedule. (vi) The contractor is liable to do the free servicing of the DG set with in defect liability period through manufacturer service agencies. The rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, buried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below ground level connected with galvanised strip of size 32 x 6 mm length upto 7.5m by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers including welding of each joints made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore medium grade and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe light grade, wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 150mm compacted thickness all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 with 20mm graded stone aggregate, 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 cover slab re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 150mm C/C both ways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 metre etc all as shown on electrical plate No.3 of MES Schedule Part-I 2009 complete including testing on completion all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) LT 1100 Volt grade, with aluminium conductor of size 3.5 Core 240 Sqmm in trenches/fixing on wall/under culvert/passing through pipes complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Earth work and excavation, sand cushioning and cable cover shall be measured and paid separately

Supply and laying UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) LT 1100 Volt grade, with aluminium conductor of size 3.5 Core 120 Sqmm in trenches/fixing on wall/under culvert/passing through pipes complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Earth work and excavation, sand cushioning and cable cover shall be measured and paid separately

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exc 10 sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25cm deep with approved soil obtained from excavation complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5m above starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Riddled soil as earth cushioning to UG cable by using IS sieve to separate the composite particle/ roots etc. and filling/ spread in trenches as cushioning and punned to required thickness to form a solid bed complete all as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Punned thickness only will be measured and paid. 2. Excavated approved soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS.

Supply and laying well burnt old size sub class 'B' brick for laid dry. flat over the cable with width equal to length of the cable and abutting each other with gap between adjacent slab not exceeding 10mm over UG cable for cable protection in trenche complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying of GI pipes of 80mm dia, medium grade with all necessary fittings and fixtures for protection of cable under road crossing including welding, connecting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting existing road/ hardstanding/ concrete blocks/ slabs/ brick work or stone masonry of any type by using crow bar chisel up to a depth of 30cm for laying GI pipe and making good all disturbed surfaces of road/ hardstanding/ concrete blocks/ slabs/ brick work or stone masonry upto the existing surface level by using cold mix bitumen over 200mm thick hard core of broken bricks/ stones including ramming, levelling etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement & pigment, glossy finish, reflective type, any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 grade complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 150mm dia GI tubes light grade, including all fittings laid in trenches or fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors/roads etc for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 100mm dia GI tubes light grade, including all fittings laid in trenches or fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors/roads etc for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) LT 1100 Volt grade, with aluminium conductor of size 4 core 10 sqmm in trenches/ duct/ fixing on wall/ under culvert/ passing through pipes complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Earth work and excavation, sand cushioning and cable cover shall be measured and paid separately

Supply, laying of GI pipes of 40mm dia, light grade with all necessary fittings and fixtures laid in flooror fixed on pillar/poles including welding, connecting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of CPRI approved, factory made, LT panel board cubical, Outdoor type, floor mounted double door, suitable for AC, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycles, 415 Volts, Front & Rear openable double door with locking arrangement. The panel board shall be made of 3.15mm thick CRCA/ MS sheet of Min size 1.50 m x 1.20 m x 0.6 m with synthetic enamal Paint both side. The panel have to provide proper compartment as per IS specification and wiring of panel with suitable size of copper conductor FRLSH cable not less than 2.5 Sqmm, thimbles including cable entry glands,, base frame of the panel shall be made of angle iron of size 50 x 50 x 6mm of upto 1/2 mtr hight from GL & 1/2 mtr for below GL in PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm stone aggregates comprising of the following:-

(i) Panel having common aluminium bus bar of each capacity 450 Amp with suitable capacity TPN bus bar for outgoing MCCB's, including aluminium lugs to connect the cable and cable gland for Each cable entry as per cable size. (ii) INCOMING: (a) MCCB microprocessor released based with overload short circuit and earth fault protection and inbuilt earth release suitable size and capacity, 400 Amp, 415 Volts, 3 Pole ICU = ICS = 36 KA with overload variation 40-100% - 01 Nos. (iii) OUTGOING: (a) MCCB microprocessor released based with overload short circuit and earth fault protection and inbuilt earth release suitable size and capacity, 250 Amp, 415 Volts, 4 Pole ICU = ICS = 36 KA with overload variation 40-100% - 01 Nos.

Supply and fix street light TIMER control panel, 110A, 3 pole/230V, DIGITAL time switch, pole/wall mounting made out of 3.15mm CRCA sheet duly powder coated with locking arrangement, including internal wiring complete with bypass arrangements and comprising of following (or as manufactures recommendation and design) complete all as specified as directed by Enginee-in-Charge.
