Appendix-C- Preventive maintenance

55.25:Lifting, conveying and fixing the newly casted RCC covering slabs of any thickness on top of drain in position including all labour charges and miscellaneous expenses etc complete

4.1.B.1:Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, spreading in uniform layers with a motor grader on a prepared surface, mixing by mix in-place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with a vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Grading-V - For sub-base cum drainage layer - Mix in Place Method

4.12:Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.

5.1.a:Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion ( SS) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 - 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means.

55.4:Supplying and stacking 36mm size hard broken stone in standard heaps for measurement.

55.8.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 36mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

55.7.a:Providing bitumen leveling coarse between 40mm and 150mm with 36mm deptl metal by spreading the metal to line and levels and rolling until the compacted coarse aggregate has a firm surface and applying hot bitumen with pressure sprayer at the rate of 20 Kg per M3 metal including all cost of bitumen conveyance heating mixing spreading in appropriate locations to proper levels compacting with power roler and other sundry stores.

55.2:Supplying and stacking 12mm hard blue granite broken stone in standard heaps for measurement(IRC 3.2.1.a)

55.6.a:Providing pre mix bitumen leveling coarse having thickness between 20mm and 40mm with 12mm deptl metal by spreading the metal to line and levels and rolling until the compacted coarse aggregate has a firm surface and applying hot bitumen (vg 30) with pressure sprayer at the rate of 48 Kg per M3 metal including all cost of bitumen conveyance heating mixing spreading in appropriate locations to proper levels compacting with power roler and other sundry stores.

8.35:Providing and fixing reflective road studs (Raised Pavement Marker) of ' category A' made out of ASA/HIPS/ABS moulded body with shanks and conforming to ASTM D 4280, strong enough to support a load of more than 13.635 T when tested in accordance with ASTM D 4280, reflective panel confirming to ASTM D 788, and reflectivity conforming to clause 804.4. including installation, drilling, fixing with adhesive etc. with 2 years warranty for the road stud as well as for in field performance as per clause 804.7.3 Road Markers/Road Stud with Lense Reflector :-

55.11.1:Flexible Hazard Marker 30cm x 30cm Hazard Marking on the surface of trees,concrete,Masonry etc using Aluminium backed flexible presmatic (AFP) SHEETING CONSISTING OF Yellow colored flexible presmatic sheeting non-metallic presmatic lens as recto reflective elements and conforming to ASTM D 4956-09 Type IV specification values for reboundable sheetig with printed arrow /Slant line pattern in black colour. AFP sheeting laminated at the back with a 50 micron thick Aluminium (AI) foil with pressure sensitive adhesive and liner and shall not crack when tested for flexibility as per section S2.2.2 of ASTM D 4956-09 including application on any surface with adhesive as recommended by manufacturer and ceiling the edges all around with epoxy based structural adhesive to resist any peel-off.

55.16:Providing and fixing guard post Providing and fixing guard post of size 200mmx200mm, 1400mm long, 800mm above ground level and 600mm below GL. casted in M20 Grade concrete reinforced with 4 nos of 8mm dia longitudinal bars and 6mm dia stirrups @ 100mm c/c, firmly fixed in position by means of foundation of size 0.5mx0.5mx0.7m in M15 grade concrete below ground level including painting 2 coats on exposed surface with synthetic enamel paint in alternate white & black band 20cm wide

8.13:Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads on Bituminous Surface @ 250 gms per sqm area, the thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes.

55.15:Refurbishment of existing signboards<br>Refurbishment of existing signboards of all size except gantry mounted ones to their original reflectivity & position by removing obstructions like overgrowth vegitation etc ,if any,washing the signboards with water & soap solution to remove all dirt, oil etc. , correcting any dislocations including minor repairs, replacement of lost nut and bolts etc complete.

3.11:Removal of unserviceable soil including excavation, loading and disposal upto 1000 metres lead but excluding replacement by suitable soil which shall be paid separately as per clause 305.

13.4.A:Random Rubble Stone masonry (coursed/uncoursed) work in cement mortar 1:3 for substructure complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications

OD1728/2023-2024:Supplying and spreading quarry rubbish in the eroded portions of BT edge, deep pot holes and low level berms as per the direction of the departmental officers at site including cost of materials, conveyance and labour charges for spreading, ramming etc complete.

OD1729/2023-2024: Filling up potholes with bituminous ready mix compound (25 kg bag )and compacting by ramming to get a compact surface including cost of materials, laying charges, transportation to site etc. complete. Rate is arrived for a bag of 25 kg

OD4159/2023-2024:Engaging labour with passenger car not less than 1000cc for conducting and reporting routine inspection for 20 Km for the entire length of project road at a frequency of 7 days throughout the agreement period of running contract as per the direction of departmental officer.
