Annual maintenance contract of 11, 33 KV VCBs (Indoor and outdoor type) and preventive maintenance of all equipments, structures etc, complete available in 33,11KV substation,Tirumala for the year 2026-27

Annual Maintenance for 11KV & 33 KV VCB's (Indoor & Outdoor type) with control relay panels which includes routine planned maintenance, breaker diagnostics and condition assessment of switchgear, Inspection, Retrofit, repairs cum service charges and exclusive of all spares cost like Timers, contractors, fuses/breakers, indicators, Relays, Meter, PT & CT's, Mechanism Spares etc., complete as per following scope of work.

SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Service the all 33 or 11 KV VCB (Indoor & Outdoor) yearly once, shall take all reasonable care and maintain the equipment in safe and proper working condition, and to take corrective measures. 2. Service agency must conduct a preventive checking and to be reported in half yearly basis. 3. Service agency must attend to all breakdown calls within 6 hours after receiving the complaints. 4. The service agency shall: a) Service the all 33 or 11 KV VCB Indoor & Outdoor (Once in a year) and the service agency shall take all reasonable care and maintain the equipment in safe and proper working condition and to take corrective measures, attend to all breakdown calls within 6 hours after receiving the complaints

b) Carry out the service work such as 1) Operating Mechanism Cleaning and Removal of old grease 2) Applying recommended grease 3) Manual / Electrical Close and Trip operations 4) Checking of Closing and Tripping coil functions 5) Checking Auxiliary contact functions 6) Closing and Tripping Spring inspection 7) Alignment and Tightness of Mechanism parts 8) Trip and Close latch checks 9) Racking mechanism lubrication and alignment check 10) Earth contact cleaning 11) Safety shutter assembly function check 12) Secondary plug check c) Carry out the service work on the day convenient to the department without disturbing the regular activities

d) Be entitled to depute its authorized/qualified service personnel to attend all breakdown at free of cost. f) Repair/ overhaul, lubricate, clean the equipment parts as per OEM technical standards and mutual understanding with the department, the conditions warrant and the old parts shall be removed. g) Shall replace or repair, free of cost, for components for reasons related to normal wear and tear. Components shall be OEM/ approved equivalent standard. h) If any extra item of work is required for the completion of the work, it should be done by the contractor at mutually agreed rates. The rate for such item will be derived on the basis of actual cost of materials used, Labour engaged, hire charges of machines used etc. i) Carry out customary preventive maintenance examine all operational safety of devices according to the prescribed standard in every 6 months.

5. Any modification work or major overhauling as & when required shall be informed to the department in advance and shall be done with prior approval from Department.

Preventive maintainace work of 33/11 KV Substation yard structure equipment’s available at GG Dam park, Tirumala with the following scope of work shall be carried out quarterly with a minimum time of 4 hrs. with maximum number of skilled, semiskilled and unskilled workmen.

Scope of Work: i) All Bolts & Nuts of Bus bars, AB Switches, VCB's, LAS's and etc., available in 33/11 KV Substation yard are to be tightened with suitable tools etc., completed. 2) All types of Porcelain Insulator items, over the bus bar, Transformers, VCB's and etc. are to be cleaned with dust proof dry cloth and applying the turbine Oil. 3) All AB Switches (33 KV & 11 KV) will be checked thoroughly tightened the operating rods, connecting rods, moving & fixing contacts by applying the petroleum gel. 4) All the Defective materials are to be replaced at the time of preventive maintenance. Spare parts cost paid separately or provided by departmentally. 5) If any works instructed by the Engineer In-charge during the preventive maintenance is to be attended.

NOTE (i)The rates are of basic rates excluding GST. (ii) The applicable GST will be reimbursed/paid as per actuals on production of proof. (iii)Statutory deductions will be made as per norms, if applicable. Any modalities imposed on GST by the Government from time to time, the same will be implemented.
