Surface excavation n.excd 30cm deep & averaging 15cm deep & getting out in hard/dense soil.

M&L Moorum/red bajri 100 mm (spread thickness) as in road side berms, spread, rolled and compacted to required camber and grading using hand roller 0.2 to 0.5 tonne complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Moorum shall be brought from out side MD land, Roylty if any shall be borne by the contracotor. The rate inserted under column 5 includes for transportation of moorum irrespective of distance involved.

Removing exavated soil or materials n. exc. 50m depositing/spreading and levelling where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above starting point all complete as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n'exc 400 sqm and depth not exceeding 50mm and stacking complete as directed.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) wet Mix macadam (WMM) , with granite, trap or basalt aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread , rolled with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller and consolidated to gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and direected.

All as per item No 5 above but except materials.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying Paving bituminious primer 80/100 grade @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm .

M&L Premix bituminous,macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50mm ) to reqd gradient using paving bitumen any penetration of binder content of 4% by Wt of total mix

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying a priming/tack coat with paving bitumneous primer 80/100 grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm.

M&L Bituminous premix Semi dence Asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % (bitumen grade 80/100) binder content weight of total mix using paving bitumen any penetration rolled & consolidated to reqd camber & gradient complete.

Preparation of Black bituminous road surfaces applying tharmoplastic road marking reflector special paint ,minimum 2mm thick ,with machine application and heat mixer ,with stirring mechanism at temparature 160 degree C laid uniformly with width as directed paint conforming to BS 3262 Part I & II of 1989 ets complete as per manufacturers instruction all as per directed.
