SPECIAL REPAIRS/ REPLACEMENT OF DG SET AT RAMDAS BLOCK AT AFA HYDERABAD

(A) Diesel Engine : Tourbocharged Diesel engine 4 stroke water cooled, multi cylinder, dynamically balanced fly wheel, electric start of suitable BHP at 1500 RPM suitable for above output of alternator at 40 Deg C, 50% RH & at 1000 Meter MSL, capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 11 hours of continuous operation. The engine will be with Electronic governor, Dry type Air filter with service indicator, first filling of engine fuel (after commissioning) lubricating Oil, Coolant and other consumables complete with all the required accessories, the Electronic governor shall be as per ISO 8528.The engine shall comply to the latest CPCB norms (CPCB IV + or better) and Conforming to BS 5514, BS 649, IS 10000, IS 10002, IS 13018. Make of Engine : KOEL GREEN / CUMMINS / GREAVES POWER. (B) Engine mounted Instrument Panel fitted with and having digital display for following : (i) Start-stop switch with key (ii) Water temperature indication (iii) Lubrication oil pressure indication (iv) Lubrication oil temperature indication (v) Battery charging indication and Voltage indication (vi) RPM indication (vii) Over speed indication (viii) Low lubricantion Oil trip indication (ix) Engine Running Hours indication (x) Fuel Level (C) Alternator : Synchronous alternator rated of 160 KVA or more, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 3 phase 50 Hz, AC supply with 0.8 lagging power factor at 40 Deg C, 50% RH & at 1000 Meter MSL. The alternator shall be having Screen Protected Drip Proof (SPDP) enclosure IP23, brushless, continuous duty, dynamically balanced rotor, capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 11 hours of continuous operation, self cooled, self-excited and self-regulated through AVR conforming to IS13364(Part 2)/IS: 4722/BS 2613 suitable for tropical conditions and with Class - H insulation. Make of Alternator : KOEL GREEN / STAMFORD / GREAVES POWER. (D) Base Frame & Foundation : Both the engine and alternator shall be mounted on suitable base frame made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement which shall be installed on suitable cement concrete foundation and vibration isolation arrangement as per recommendations of manufacturer. (E) FUEL TANK : Daily service fuel tank suitable for 12 Hrs continuous operation as per MES Specifications, fabricated out of 3 mm thick M.S. sheet complete with all standard accessories and fuel piping between fuel tank and diesel engine with MS class ‘C’ pipes of suitable dia. Complete with valves, level indications & accessories as required as per specifications. (F) Exhaust System : Dry exhaust manifold with hospital type exhaust silencer and catalytic convertor. "(G) Starting System : 12V/24V DC starting system comprising of starter motors : voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation complete with suitable numbers of batteries (180 AH capacity lead acid SMF type) as required as per specifications. The battery shall be housed inside the acoustic enclosure of DG Set." (H) Acoustic and weather proof enclosure with arrangement for fresh air intake for cooling of the engine & alternator, extraction, discharging hot air in to the atmosphere and the temperature rise inside the enclosure, noise level outside enclosure. The acoustic enclosure should be suitable for cable connection /connection through bus-trunking. Such arrangements on acoustic enclosure should be water proof & dust-proof conforming to IP-65 protection. The enclosure shall be as per CPCB IV + or better norms etc.

(J) AMF Panel : Supply, install, commissioning & testing of Outdoor Type AMF Panel suitable for DG Set of 160 KVA, factory fabricated CPRI (type-tested) with suitable neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust & vermin proof & degree of protection not less than IP-55 & general construction confirming to IS-13947, double door, front & back openable. The panel shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation & tinned copper bus-bar of rating 1.5 times the full load current wrapped with coloured PVC tape/sleeves of rating in conformity to the Incoming/Outgoing ACB/MCCB rating (as applicable). The panel board shall be fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick (for outer portions) & 2.0 mm thick (for inner portions) CRCA sheet duly pre-treated & powder coated, supporting angle iron frame & MC channel base suitable for 3 Ph, 4 wire system 415/440 volts grade incl complete internal wiring with not less than 2.5 sqmm copper wire incl cable glands of suitable sizes incl suitable PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 foundation , necessary earthwork (if any) incl taking down old unsv existing panel complete all as specified & as directed with & incl the following accessories : SEB I/C : MCCB 4P (Ics = 100% Icu) with thermal magnetic release, adjustable short circuit & adjustable overload setting, suitable for isolation, having breaking capacity 36 KA & of rating 215 to 320 A - 01 Nos. Cat No : DZ6F0320DXD1AOOOO of Make L&T or techno-commercially equivalent of ABB/LEGRAND/SIEMENS. AMF MAIN O/G : MCCB 4P (Ics = 100% Icu) with thermal magnetic release, adjustable short circuit & adjustable overload setting, suitable for isolation, having breaking capacity 36 KA & of rating 215 to 320 A - 01 Nos. Cat No : DZ6F0320DXD1AOOOO of Make L&T or techno-commercially equivalent of ABB/LEGRAND/SIEMENS. "COMPACT ENCLOSED ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) suitable for inside panel mounting & I-O-II operation, 4 Pole, 250 A, confirming to IEC 60947-6-1 - 01 No complete with following features/specifications : (i) Double-Break Contact System offering High Short-time Withstand. (ii) Ample Space for Cable Termination. (iii) Ease of Generator Control (ON-OFF, Cooling Cycle Self-Test). (iv) Cyclic Event Logger. (v) Priority Source Selection. (vi) Adjustable Time Delay (0.1 Sec to 3 Hrs). (vii) Suitable for 3-Phase as well as 1-Phase sources. (viii) Protections - UV/OV, Phase Sequence, Single Phasing, Frequency. The size/rating of all the connected accessories viz. MFM, RYB Indication Lamps, MCBs, 250/5 CT Coils, DG Start/Stop Relay, 12V/10A Battery Charger, OV/UV Relays, 230V Aux Contactor, DG Set Running Indication Lamp, Load ON Mains/DG Indication Lamps etc. of the AMF Panel shall be as per OEM & in conformity with the I/C & O/G MCCBs duly provided with BYPASS system/arrangement complete. "

IMPORTANT NOTES : (i) Design / Drawing / Technical Specifications / particulars etc. of the complete DG Set incl AMF Panel assembly / system is to be obtained from OEM / Auth Supplier & is to be got approved from Engr-In-Charge / GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. (ii) All the necessary OEM/Auth Supplier Test Certificates as per relevant IS/IEC incl the Purchase Vouchers / Guarantee / Warranty Certificates is to be submitted in Original to the Engr-In-Charge. (iii) Anything missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working of the complete DG Set incl AMF Panel assembly / system is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (iv) Cost of making good the disturbed surfaces incl matching to the existing/old surfaces is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (v) The contractor/firm is required to visit the site prior to quoting of the subject items/ work so as to ascertain the actual ground requirements. Any further query at a later date shall not be entertained & responsibility of the same shall rest on the contractor/ firm. (vi) The complete work of the installation, commissioning & testing of the complete DG Set incl AMF Panel assembly / system is to be got done from the OEM or their authorized sister concern/ channel partner only. (vii) Repair/ Servicing / Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of the complete DG Set incl AMF Panel assembly / system is to be got done from the OEM/ Sister Concern/ Channel partner only by the contractor for the entire defect liability period i.e two years from the certified date of completion & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quote rates. (viii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of DG Set & AMF Panel foundation & / or plinth all as per OEM recommendations. (viii) Quoted rate is also deemed to be inclusive of Factory Inspection/Testing of the DG Set before dispatch by an E/M Officer nominated by the Accepting Officer & 12 Hour Pre-Commissioning Testing of the DG Set with & incl the complete arrangement of Fuel, Resistive Load Bank & other associated items / equipments / T&P etc. by an E/M Officer nominated by the Accepting Officer / IEM.

Excavation in trenches by mechanical or other means n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying of pipe and getting out in hard dense soil complete. IMPORTANT NOTE : 1) The requirement of JCB (if any) for cutting the hard standing/PCC/WBM road surface or during earthwork is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. 2) If any damage to any Cable of Air Force/BSNL/MES etc. or to any Pipe lines develops/occurs during execution of the works then the same shall be made good by the Contr to the entire satisfaction of the concerned Dept/Section & the costs of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. 3) Quoted rate is also deemed to be inclusive of clearing/removing/cutting of vegetation/tree branches/small to medium plantings/bushes etc. so as to facilitate successful completion of the work. No extra/addl payment shall be allowed to the Contr in this regard. 4) The contractor/firm is required to visit the site prior to quoting of the subject items/ work so as to ascertain the actual ground requirements. Any further query at a later date shall not be entertained & responsibility of the same shall rest on the contractor/ firm.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick.

Removing of excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point.

M&L for HDPE DWC (Double Wall Corrugated) Pipe of rating 450 N, ISI marked with Min OD 120 mm & Min ID 100 mm, Orange colour for LT UG Cable protection with & including Couplers etc. & RR & NFP properties/features confirming to IS 16205 Part 24:2018 & IEC 61386 Part 24:2007 with & including necessary clamping on wall / other surfaces complete all as specified & as directed by the Engr-In-Charge. Make - Supreme (Cable Guard) / Astral (Telerex) or techno-commercially equivalent of Finolex / Polycab. NOTE : Purchase Vouchers & Test Certificates to be submitted in Original to the Engr-In-Charge.
