od27/2019_2020 : Hauling up of the Tug of having 40 - 42 tonnage at a place as directed by the department officers. Keeping the vessel at a height of 75 CM above the ground level for inspection and launching the same after under water repairs, as directed by Department Officers.

od45/2019_2020 : Dock rent for keeping the vessel of having 40 - 42 ton for inspection, replacement of damaged plates and painting etc., as per the direction of department officials. <br>

od47/2019_2020 : Removing the thickly formed oyster coating and other vegetable growth from the underwater portion of the vessel including cleaning the surface etc. complete as per the direction and satisfaction of department officers <br>

od57/2019_2020 : Chipping scrapping and cleaning the complete surface of the vessel body, machineries pipelines and other accessories of the vessel body as per the direction of dept officers<br>

od63/2019_2020 : Gauging the thickness of the plates, beam, frame etc. at different portion of the vessel using, ultrasonic thickness gauge after chipping, scrapping and filing the surface to about 50 mm dia and pasting grease/ oil over it as per the direction of department officers.<br>

Plate Work and Anode fixing work

od28/2019_2020 : Cutting and removing the old damaged, weakened, severely damaged various thickness ms plate/ms flat/ms angles/ms rods/ beams/ girders etc. marked by dept officers in various places of the vessel without damaging any other portion/ structures/ member on the vessel as per the direction of department officers. <br>

od44/2019_2020 : Supplying and welding with new various thickness maine quality ms plate/ ms angle/ ms flat/ ms rod/ beam/ gazette of existing size and shape to the various portions on the vessel's already removed damaged portion of the after heating and bending into shape, V cut on the matting edge of the plate and welding three layer on both sides together. The rate including the cost of materials, welding charges, tools, plants, scaffolding, other incidental expenses etc. complete as per the direction of department officers.<br>

od48/2019_2020 : Supplying and fitting by welding zinc anode weighting 2.5 kg (excluding the weight of bracket) with bracket on the underwater portion of the hull if damaged/distorted the existing anodes complete as per the direction of department officers.<br>

Painting work

od370/2019_2020 : Copper slag /sand blasting at the standers of SA 2.5 for the resistance of corrosion on outer portion of the vessel as per the direction of departmental officers. <br>

od375/2019_2020 : Supplying and painting with approved (quality of entire quantity of primer supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer, who is in-charge of work/ department authority before starting/ continuation of the painting work) best quality (marine) Epoxy metal primer 2 coats over all chipped surface after cleaning the surface etc. complete as per the direction of department officers.<br>

od377/2019_2020 : Supplying and painting with approved (quality of entire quantity of paint supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer, who is in-charge of work/ Department authority before starting/ continuation of the painting work) best quality Apoxy Coal Tar/ Vinyl guard paint (marine quality) over the primer applied surface after cleaning the surface as per the direction of department officers.<br>

od378/2019_2020 : Supplying and painting with approved (quality of entire quantity of poly urethane paint supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer, who is in-charge of work/ dept. authority before starting/ continuation of the painting work) epoxy paint white or other approved colour 2 coats over the primer coat already done on vessel body, machinery, pipelines with colour code and other accessories etc. as per the direction and satisfaction of dept. officers.<br>

Water tank

od5/2019_2020 : Replace the existing damaged water tank installed on the vessel with existing shape and capacity of reputed make and install the same with additional ribs, as per the direction of department officials.

Rubber beading work

od50/2019_2020 : Renew all the damaged door rubber beading in the various doors in the wheel house, kitchen, toilet, store room ,rudder compartment etc with existing size after leveling the door and make them watertight all as directed by the department officers.<br>

Electrical wiring

od8/2019_2020 : Check all the electrical wiring in the tug, replace the defected holders, starters, bulbs, tubes, navigational lights, search lights, panel board, bells, motors, blowers etc. by new arrange all the DC and AC wiring properly etc. complete all as directed by department officers (The contractor should procure the defected items from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging these items. These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and the un serviceable/ old items should be returned to dept for realization of payment)<br>

Fire extinguisher work

od12/2019_2020 : Replace two number 4.5 Kg CO2 type, eleven number 5 Kg ABC type on the vessel and mark the validity period on the extinguishers, all as per the direction of Department officers. <br>

Hydraulic rudder system

od16/2019_2020 : Repair the defective rudder system including the tiller mechanism and replace the damaged rudder indicator with reputed make of good quality having ISI mark and Check the hydraulic rudder System of the vessel for arresting any leakages from the wheel house to the rudder compartment, check the rudder bushes, rudder and check the quantity and quality of the hydraulic oil and replace any parts/oil if damaged and make the system efficient and operational,(The contractor should procure the spare parts required to make functional the rudder system from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the replaced un serviceable/ old parts except consumable like O rings, rubber parts etc. should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these un serviceable/ old spares should be returned to dept for realization of payment If the spares are not available in market produce these items himself or its production should be arranged by the contractor. Cost of these items assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbursed with overhead of 15% as contractor's profit) and make the steering wheel smooth and operational, as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials.

Anchor Winch and anchor

od21/2019_2020 : Repair the Anchor winch installed on the vessel and made the winch operational, (The contractor should procure the defected items from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging these items. These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and the un serviceable/ old items should be returned to dept for realization of payment)as per the direction and satisfaction f the department officials.

od101/2019_2020 : Supply and install 2 nos new anchors of suitable for the vessel after proper design and fix the same with the existing anchor mechanism with D shackles and swivel mechanism, after cleaning and greasing the entire chain of the anchor system as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials. The design and drawing should be submitted and get it approved by the department before installation.

od53/2019_2020 : Supply and provide a new anchor winch cover made of good quality of rexine made to a suitable shape by stitching and necessary fastenings with good quality thread, as per the direction ans satisfaction of department officials. <br>

GPS, Eco-sounder, Magnetic Compass & Walky Talky

od102/2019_2020 : Replace the GPS on the vessel and install the same on the vessel, of minimum display resolution 480 X 640 Pixels, way points minimum 1500, IPX7, display dimension min 5.5 inch X 6 inch with neat cover and provide a minimum warranty period of 3 years as per the direction of the department officials.

od103/2019_2020 : Supply install and commission a new eco-sounder on the vessel of reputed make with a frequency range 50 to 200 KHz with a display of no less than size of 6 inch of color LED of IPX5 Water protection type of English language, complete as per the direction of the department officials.

od104/2019_2020 : Take the Magnetic compass form the vessel make error free by calibrating the same, as per the norms ISO 25862 : 2009 (E) and install the same beck in the vessel with necessary calibration certificate from the reputed firm, complete as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials.

Generator repair

od123/2019_2020 : Repair the alternator and its starting mechanism after replacing the defective spares if any (The contractor should procure the defected items from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging these items. These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and the unserviceable/ old items should be returned to dept for realization of payment) rate includes for make the generator functional, complete as per the direction of department officials.

Propeller Shaft

od24/2019_2020 : Removing the propeller with shaft and cutlass bushes from the vessel and dismantling the propeller from the propeller shaft etc. and renew the bushes and gland packing, bend checking and straightening the shaft, balancing and pitch correcting the propeller etc. all as per the direction of departmental officers.

Sea chest and pipe lines

od25/2019_2020 : All the sea chests, sea chest strainers sea water box and sea chest valve is to be removed,cleaned and fitted back after replacing the damaged nuts and bolts and filters as per the direction of departmental officers. (The contractor should procure the spare parts required to make functional the valve from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the replaced un serviceable/ old parts except consumable like O rings, rubber parts etc. should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these un serviceable/ old spares should be returned to dept for realization of payment If the spares are not available in market produce these items himself or its production should be arranged by the contractor. Cost of these items assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbursed with overhead of 15% as contractor's profit), this include cost of MS/Brass bolt and nut, cost of Brass Net, <br>

od32/2019_2020 : Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 25 mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line, replace the damaged pipe line if any with new C class GI pipe of existing size and good quality make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flow of sea water, bilging etc. also conduct a pressure test for the pipes, complete as directed by the Department officers.<br>

od55/2019_2020 : Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 32 mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line, replace the damaged pipe line if any with new C class GI pipe of existing size and good quality make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flow of sea water, bilging etc. also conduct a pressure test for the pipes, complete as directed by the Department officers.<br>

od68/2019_2020 : Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 80/100 mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line, replace the damaged pipe line if any with new C class GI pipe of existing size and good quality make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flow of sea water, bilging etc. also conduct a pressure test for the pipes, complete as directed by the Department officers.<br>

od19/2019_2020 : Provide and install a one ton Capacity of Split Air Conditioner of reputed make with energy 5 star on the wheel house with suitable stabilizer and accessories, complete as per the direction and satisfaction of Department officials. <br>

Marking the name

od17/2019_2020 : Painting the name and Registration number of the vessel (MT AZHIKKAL, PORT DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF KERALA) on the tug by fabricating the letters in 6 mm MS plate and ISF 60X6, in 200X150 mm size letters as per the directions of the departmental officers.<br>
