Dismantling of existing rusted structures

Dismantling & removal of rusted plates of the platform & treads of the existing steel foot over bridge at Thottapally including the dismembering & stacking of plates within 50m lead including labour charges, scaffoldings,hire charges of genetator & tools for cutting, removal, stacking etc. complete.

Dismantling & removal of fully / partially damaged / rusted handrail (50 mm Ø GI Pipes) in single sections including dismembering and stacking within 50m lead including labour charges, scaffoldings, tools for cutting, removal, stacking etc. complete.

Repair works

Providing and fixing of MS Channel having size of 75x40x5 mm (10 nos) for newly provided platform plate at a suitable interval in the shorter span (1.20 M) width to provide the additional support including cost of materials, trasportation, hire charges of welding machines, generator, cutting machine, labour charges for cutting, placing in position & welding at all levels, scaffoldings and labour charges etc., complete.

Providing and fixing of 6mm thick chequered MS plates of approved quality for replacing fully / partially rusted plates in existing steel foot over bridge including cutting, hoisting, welding, fixing in position at all levels and grinding the joints to a smooth finishing, including making of 1cm Ø 6 to 8 holes at 250mm C/C in the required locations of tread plates and on the landing portions, including applying of a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. as per the directions. The rate shall include the cost of materials, hiring of generator & welding machines, cutting, fixing, welding at all levels, scaffoldings and labour charges etc. complete.

Providing and fixing of handrails for the existing steel foot over bridge at the requisite locations with 50mm Ø GI pipes having thickness 3.75 mm of approved quality at all levels. The rate shall include the cost of materials, hiring of generator & welding machines, cutting, fixing, welding at all levels, grinding, scaffoldings and labour charges etc. complete.

Finishing Work

Scrubbing & removal of excess rust paricles from all the members of the structure by the help of sand blast pump of minimum 175 Cm. f capacity before preparing the surface for applying primer including hire charges of sand blast pipe filled with sand alongwith generator, trasportation, labour charges,cost of fuel etc., complete.

Painting with Epoxy Paint (two or more coats) at all steel work of the steel foot over bridge (supporting members, staircase, platform, hand rails) prepared and applied as per the manufacturer's specifications including applying of appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, labour charges, brush, scaffoldings upto 3.00 M etc., complete.

Miscellaneous

Add: extra for scaffolding for exucuting repair & painting works on underneath portion of the bridge platform and landing portions / supporting members above 3.00 M height from Ground Level ensuring adequate safety measures to labours as well as public etc. complete.

Clearing grass and removal of the rubbish from the surrounding of the foor over bridge upto a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area cleared including the labour charges, tools etc., complete.

Electrical Work

Providing and laying of 2.5 Sq. mm (Phase & Neutral) wire with ISI PVC conduit for connecting MCB and light points alongwith earthing point & wire and also giving a seperate fuse on nearby electric post. The rate shall include cost of all materials, transportation, fixing of casing, incl. screws, clambs etc. complete.

Supplying and proving of standard MCB and ISI PVC conduit with all fittings as per requirement. The rate shall include cost of all materials, transportation, fixing of MCB Cabin, incl. screws, clambs, MCB fixing surface of wooden / steel if any etc. complete.

Supplying and fixing of 5 Nos LED tube set (Street light type - waterproof) for light facility on the span of steel foot over bridge at Thottappally. The rate shall include cost of all materials, transportation, fixing of casing incl. screws, clambs etc. complete.

Revenue from Scrap (minus item)

Revenue on account of disposal of dismantled Chequered Plates & GI Pipes using as Handrails etc. and duly cleaning of entire working area before handing over the site as per directions of E-I-C.
